Maddox should’ve also gone on IR along with desean. Berman made a great point on bwf podcast saying this year more than ever you have to be good at diagnosing injuries and length of time considering you have the advantage of short term IR being three weeks. I forget the in-depth length ge went into but it’s a good listen. 

just saying i kind of like if the nfl would adapt this as a new rule going forward and not just for this year.

Yup. I think corner and MLB are the eagles biggest needs. They'll never take a LB round one but have taken a few 2nd round in the past.

The eagles need another 2002 draft 

They can't afford to come away with maybe 1 starter and a few backups or projects 

They need guys that can either be impacts day one or impact players by year 3.

They will probably never take a LB in the first but if they get a high enough pick I will inevitably talk myself into thinking they will take Parsons. 

Mosher says Reagor got his cast off about two weeks earlier than expected, it that his timetable hasn’t been accelerated. 

Caplan says Goedert is targeting Week 8 vs the Cowboys. He also said two team sources had expected DJax to play vs Baltimore. I guess that would mean he’s playing Thursday. 

I'd like to see around 10-12 plays with Hurts on the field on Thursday. Specifically in the first half to get things going and change up these slow starts they've had. If there ever was a time to do it, now is the time with no Sanders, Ertz, and all the other injuries they have on offense. They also need to limit the amount of times Wentz is getting blasted.

Driscoll's injury was the direct result of Brown getting beat.

He sacked Carson Wentz on his own.

He got beat so bad that he disrupted Mailata's perfectly fine block....then proceeded to stop and fix his gloves.

He got thrown 7 yards by Campbell and rolled another 10 to be completely out of the play.

Worst OL performance I've seen since Winston Justice but somehow this looked worse.

I wouldn't be against him lining up as a straight up running back at this point.  He looked quick, fast and elusive running the ball.  If he can be a playmaker, get him on the field.

If Desean plays, I'd be surprised. He's sat on guaranteed money and doesn't seem pressured to play unless he is healthy, and he can eek it out as much as he wants.  I can Johnson trying to gut it out for the team, or at least be on the bench.

He'll trot out there for a series. Get a massage on the table and then stand on the sideline without a helmet for the rest of the game.
