How much ground does Taylor cover there?  Looks to me like he went from the far hash mark at the 40-yard line, almost to the sideline at the 25 yard line in just a shade over 4 seconds — in full equipment

He took a good angle, too. Many of our vets take bad angles. It's one play, but it shows that he has some tools to work with.

How is this possible?

Because TO worked hard, but he could never be Travis Fulgham.

I don’t want to say T.O. is petty, but the guy wouldn’t even show up to his own HOF induction.

I think Fran can do some top notch film work.  I wish he could be a bit more honest because he does fluff stuff but you can see he has a good eye with just little nuances like where he stops the film here to show how quickly Taylor reacts to realizing he bit on the run fake and recovers to run down Lamar.

As for Taylor, I almost wonder how he would be at running back the way he cuts back and bursts.

Too costly really to trade.

Doesn't matter.  I think you attempted to speak English here.  Looking forward to inchworming our way into the playoffs then beating the crap out of the Bucs.

Why engage him?   Nothing sadder than a self-proclaimed 'former fan' that decides to pick a team on the map, hanging around the board of the former team fans.  Beat it.

I can’t see anyone taking on Ryan at that money and with the cap. I could see a team that’s a contender that needs a WR making the move and i think could manage his cap number more easily than Ryan.

We might need to find out on Thursday.

Umm.  No.  You beat it?  Although I think you were referring to him.

Can we trade them Alshon and Desean for Julio?   Please?

Im just wondering, if we had money to offer Ertz the highest paid TE contract last year, can there possibly be some way Howie can absorb a Julio, or Amari Cooper, or even OBJ contract? Especially if he were to send out the Alshon or Jackson contract in the trade?

I know theres no way we can imagine it using our cap websites. But somehow I feel like its in the realm of possibility for Howie.

Howie is good with the funny money.  So, likely...   But, please no to OBJ.  Just no, NEVER!

He had a follow-up tweet that suggested Sweat was the one that lost contain responsibility and that Taylor was supposed to follow the pulling guard.

Any logical thought behind this comment? Any quantitative reasoning?

I was just looking through bad teams last night compiling a list of WRs I would like to see him call about.

Julio and OBJ were two of them.

I also wonder if Detroit will be willing to pay Golladay.

I think Dallas with Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb will not likely pay Gallup. Or, theyll trade Cooper first. Feel like one could be had.

Allen Robinson always seems to be a name at deadline time these days.

And I wondered about DJ Moore in Carolina because his name was out there at last years deadline.

Im more interested in a LB. But I was only able to come up with 3 names, and Im not sure any are available, or game changing players.

At CB I didnt look through the whole league, but Im still thinking of Ahkello Witherspoon, especially now that Verrett has stepped up and showed he still has his elite skill he has always had when healthy.

There was plenty of logical thought behind his comment.

How much longer can Julio Jones keep it up?  He's almost 32 years old and you have him under contract for 3.5 years.  He averages about $20 million per season.  Is it possible to rework his contract?

The Falcons are going no where so I doubt they want any veterans.  They want draft picks.  With that being said I would offer Alshon and a 3rd for Jones.  They would have no interest in Ertz since they just traded for Hurst unless they wanted to start running a 2 TE offense.  If that's the case I would offer Ertz and a 5th.

They don't have much at DT.  I would do Cox for Jones straight up.  Let the contracts cancel eachother out.

Hard to believe that the Bears would trade Robinson sitting at 5-1.

I feel like Julio can keep it up as long as Fitzgerald. He may not always be a big playmaker. He may already be past those days. But hes going to be a great possession WR forever.

I don't give two craps what the Falcons want.  I want to lose the Desean and Alshon contracts.

wtf? how are the 5-1? I think I paid attention to every other teams record except for theirs. I guess I just assumed their record sucked as bad as they do.
