Seems a bit early to give up on the guy then, if they just signed him to a 3 year contract.   Doesn't make sense.

If he was just with the Bills, I figured he'd already be tested and cleared.

Correct. Even if he was getting tested on Bills he would have to go through a waiting period like Toth and Brown had to do when they claimed him

Same with LeVeon Bell.

Is there a door #3?

Your strategy is plain and I have been slain.

One thing I'll have to explain, my love for the Eagles is off the chain.

Bet this guy would automatically be our best LB.

The Falcons signed Jamon Brown to a three year contract last  year. He was benched and then cut. I won't get to excited about Spain.

Your commentary has become inane, to the point where it is driving me insane.

FACT CHECK

If we was on PUP, he wouldn't have been able to begin practicing until this week.  And knowing before the season began that this week was a Thursday game, week 8 would have likely been the earliest he would have been available.

Continue your discussion...

Again they should have left him on PUP. He’s been practicing for weeks and couldn’t get into games. So the fact that he couldn’t start practicing till now makes no difference because he’s been practicing and still can’t get into games. And it wasn’t just fulgham keeping him off the field all season. Fulgham did nothing until week 5 San Fran. So explain the first five weeks he missed and practiced i believe since week 3

anyway you slice it it was a mistake by the Eagles. PUP him he’s out six weeks then you get 21 days for him to practice and make it back.

You just like to complain

In this division? Hell yes

With the possibility of getting some guys back healthy (Lane, Isaac, Reagor, Ertz, Goedert, Sanders etc)  If we get healthy at the right time?

Yeah why not.

If true, then there's hope.

In a world far from Mundane, where this team causes me pain, for you and I to root for them till the end, may just be in vein

Going to have to listen to that interview later today but I wonder if he mentioned any specific names that the Eagles would be selling off. Obviously I think the elephant in the room is ertz but I think there’s other players that they would also consider trading.

The full injury report for the #Eagles. DeSean Jackson and Lane Johnson don’t even have a game status. They’re a go

Manu you're a media guy....this tweet makes it sound more like Schefter's opinion. Usually Schefter is the god of inside info, but would he usually say something like based on my sources I think the Eagles will be sellers? Like he's talked to somebody in the org and has some inkling of this? Again, based on just the tweet, it sounds like his opinion just looking at the team from a distance, which most would agree with, and I don't know that it holds that much weight in terms of how true it would be.

I'm excited D-Jax is back. He may not last long, but I'm excited that some of our star players are starting to return.

NRC I think is a guy they would consider trading. I don’t know how much of a market he has though because he hasn’t been great this year. But he’s only on a one year contract and you likely from some contender that needs a slot corner what you could get in a compensation pick a year later

Whether he's got inside info or not I think it's the more obvious answer. This team is in cap hell next year so it needs to create space.

I dont get it.

Sure he might get injured in a game or 2. But as long as he is on the field, hes adding a dimension for us. Every game he can replace hightower we can be hitting on all of those missed opportunities where Hightower drops it. The impact of having him on the field is still huge.  Its not as if hes a useless player coming back.

Yes, but Howie gonna Howie. I think it's a complete toss up if we'll be buyers or sellers. These next few games likely decide the difference.

Haha seriously? A star player who's done next to nothing in nearly a season and a half?

Quinton Spain asked for the #Bills to release him so he could pursue an opportunity elsewhere, sources said.
