Quinton Spain asked for the #Bills to release him so he could pursue an opportunity elsewhere, sources said.

Bring him in.  4 penalties and no sacks as a 16 game starter last year.

Apparently, Desean counts 5.8m against our cap next year whether we cut or trade him.  10.9m if we keep him, which we won't.

What was Howie thinking when he wrote up these contracts?

Agreed. Ultimately I want this team to win games. Desean/Fulgham/Ward gives us a better chance of that than Hightower/Fulgham/Ward. Plus, Desean when he does play well is one of the most exciting guys in the league. I don't understand how you can't be excited about this.

I actually think DeSean Jackson is going to help them a lot in this game. Bradberry wants to match up with fulgham. That’s the type of wide receiver he matches up really well with. They both have size and they both have length. And fulgham isn’t a speed guy Which gives plays to bradberry’s strength. So if you have the Shawn out there he’s going to get the other Giants corners who are not very good. He has a chance to go off in this game if the oline can hold up. And if they take Bradberry off of Fulgham to move him onto desean then he has a mismatch with bradberry and fulgham could Also go off against the weaker giants corners.

Eagles restructured Cox’s deal you create space. Might be up to something

Probably in preparation for next years cap chaos.  But, hopefully it is for a guard ( Quinton Spain ) or a line backer.

He’d have had a better argument if reagor was healthy. But as he’s hurt and likely out til after the bye he’s really only taking snaps from Watkins and hightower. Which really i think we are asking hightower to play way too many snaps as a 5th round rookie who’s learning as he’s going.

Hightower and Watkins, each, have a 1-5% chance of turning into something special for this offense.  Desean has a 0% chance.

Go look at his 2022 dead money

Cant wait to see the first time DeSean gets tackled when he starts limping after getting up.

He should do what Wentz needs to do.....avoid hits and tackles at all costs.  Catch the ball and get down or go out of bounds.  He's got the perfect guy on the team to teach him, Ertz.

And you think it’s going to help their case if they keep going out there when they’re not ready to play significant amount of snaps? That can also go the opposite way where are you ruin their potential because they are playing too many snaps too soon

He’s been pretty miserable with the contract structures and restructures.

Went on a date about 2 weeks ago and the girl was all about PBR. I was like this isn’t going to work out.

So the Eagles just restructured Cox's contract.  I don't know any details.

It's sad that I wince upon hearing that, out of concern that we are just creating more bad years of inflated cap hits in the future.

I'd rather take lumps in 2021 than just offload more problems into 2021 and 2022.

Good for them on cutting Brown. Sends the message that crap like that isn’t accepted. About time they held someone accountable for playing like garbage.

Jasmon brown released

To bad they will not send the same message by cutting Gerry.

So who is the RG tomorrow? Opeta?

The full injury report for the #Eagles. DeSean Jackson and Lane Johnson don’t even have a game status. They’re a go

Suds plus the new Injured players who are out plus some holdovers from last week, it is a real possibility an injured player is active this week.  I only think the injury designation applies to how likely a player will be inactive.

In a world far from Mundane, where this team causes me pain, for you and I to root for them till the end, may cause us to open a vein

The Gerry thing I really can't understand. It's one thing to lack talent, which he obviously does. But he now seems to be lacking effort. There's one truly unforgivable thing in all of team sports, and it's lack of effort. At least bench him.

He’ll be at worst an above average starter in 2022. This team has handed out their fair share of bad contracts but this one isn’t horrible.

Not as far fetched as people think. We could have the entire O line back, minus Dillard. Reagor, Jackson and Jeffery (at least for a few snaps)

If this team gets healthy at the right time they could score on anyone. Of course that doesn't solve the LB problem

Concrete highway barrier

Here is 6 of the 7 inactives for tomorrow.

It does a little if Taylor is ready to go, Singleton continues to play okay, TJ Edwards returns and Bradley continues to contribute.  None of the Ss are long term injuries, nor is Jackson’s quad.

Good question. Pryor is coming back? I did not see his name on the injury/ Illness report for today.

Cox's initial extension was fine.  At the time, he was one of the best defensive players in the NFL, they couldn't let him walk, and that's what it took to keep him here.  We always knew the back end of the contract was going to be poor value, but it was a necessary evil.  It looks worse because Cox has fallen off faster than expected, but it was still a reasonable extension.

This restructuring, however, just perpetuates and exacerbates the bad back end.
