Orlovsky said it was an elite throw. Solak said it was impressive but it was wide open and there’s like 4 QB’s currently playing with enough arm strength to make the same throw across their body into a huge window so it wasn’t elite.

Yeah, whatever it was. Solak stepped in it that day.

He gets on my nerves sometimes with how he speaks (calling grown men "honey” or "sweetie” is really grating), but overall I think he’s really good. He and Kist IMO have the best podcast.

Honestly theres a chance the jets just tank again the following year or he goes to the jags which would be worse on a marketing perspective then ny.

I need to watch him this year. He regressed badly last year. He’s all hype to me. Just a kid playing street ball. His mechanics, footwork, arm motion and decision making are terrible.

Conflicted on betting for this Eagles game. In normal years it seems like an easy win over giants, but I have no idea what Eagles team we’ll see on Thursday. Also if giants team will be extra motivated knowing they still have a shot at division title (lol)

right now spread is -4 Eagles and O/U is at 44.5. I want to take Eagles with the under, I think our DL will dominate this game. But also feels like one of those classic games where we think DL will dominate & they don’t at all. Can’t help but feel giants keep it close & it’s a higher scoring game.

I understand what he was getting at, because at the time he was saying 2019 Josh Allen could make the throw who certainly wasn’t elite. But it was incredibly nit picky.

I think they have the best technical pod although this year has been a bit slacking due to one reason or another. I can see how Solaks quirks are off putting for some, but his football IQ is sharp. Theirs and QB Scho Show I feel you learn something new outside of the usual talking points most pods hit. Caplan/Mosher give some inside nuggets from time to time but feel so repetitive. I’m not really interested in hearing second hand dumbed down info from anonymous people who watched the tape. BwF gives a nice break and lighter side to the usual without giving full ESP takes.

I like the over and Eagles just barely covering. I see it something like 28-23 Eagles

I know this play has been discussed and we’ve talked about the speed to chase down Lamar, but the thing that pops out is the angle he takes. 95 percent of LBs have to run toward the pylon to have a shot at Jackson. That is seriously impressive.

Their preview podcast has taken a huge step back. They used to have two weekly preview pods — one for the offense and one for the defense. Now they’re combined into one shorter podcast. That leaves the analysis a little too thin.

Caplan and Mosher’s podcast is pretty informative. I like the anonymous scout/coach information.

I haven’t listened to BwF in a while. They used to be a must listen, but since I work at home with the kids around and I no longer have yard work each week I don’t have the chance to listen as much.

Yeah that’s kind of where I’m at also. The under and eagles just feels like the safer bet

I started listening to Chris Long’s podcast last week & I really like it

I like the anonymous info if it means something. When it’s "I asked my guy who watches tape and Alshon can’t run anymore and Gerry played bad” it’s like, well no kidding. Tales from the blindside (Thomas, Herremans, Jamal Jackson) is a fun listen though. Gives a unique perspective from older Eagles on what’s currently happening.

You want a drinking game, put on an Inside the Birds episode and take a shot every time Caplan says, "I talk to people around the National Football League."

Finish your drink when he says "We’re reporters, not fans”

I’ll be interested to see how a banged up Turds OL handles the WASH pass rush this weekend.  Those crybabies are already going to the media with gripes after 6 weeks with a new coaching staff; they should be grateful they’re even 2-4 and shut up.  Now they have two division games on the road back-to-back.

I had assumed with Dak that DAL would win the division almost by default at 8-8 just by virtue of the other NFC East teams not having an offense capable of keeping up.  Dalton did not look sharp against ARI, though.  The Cardinals just kept blitzing guys off the edge, and DAL never adjusted.  With their WR group they should have just kept throwing deep to push the Cards D back.

Not sure how many points WASH can put up this Sunday, but that game is winnable

Oh it is definitely winnable for WAS. I mean I think they probably only need to score about 20 points to win that game.

Any chance Davion Taylor starts against Giants?

Let's hope so... I really don't see the harm at this point.

Likely not, but it was good to see him on the field last week.  My big hope is to see more Shaun Bradley.

The speed is impressive, the diving toward the fake and being way out of position is the tough part to watch.  If he maintains his gap and watches for the option he may prevent the first down.  But we know this is the type of stuff he has to learn

Little does he know he’s about to become a Legend in the Blog.

Just thought of this: every time a lineman misses a block we can call it jamoning.

I'm in the minority, but I have more faith in Fulgham than I do Mailata.

Interesting. Why do you feel this way?

8 hours ago, LeanMeanGM said:

I’d have to say Mailata is most likely the real deal based off measurables/athleticism. Fulgham has gotten lucky on some of these plays, in particular the TD against San Fran and the TD against Baltimore. A small bounce in a different direction on either we are probably writing him off the roster.

Mailata looks to be pretty damn good from the very small clips I have looked at, but I expect Fulghram to be a contributor somehow going forward.

but why?  They made the smart move.  Cut a horrible player.  You're telling me there aren't any 1st or 2nd year OG on the street that they could bring in to develop?  Brown is trash.  Just when you think they are wising up and making smart moves they do this.  Not that a PS is going to make or break this team but from a talent standpoint what do they see?

Well they really don't have a "glove adjuster" on the roster, he may need to teach them how to get your gloves adjusted while pretending to play

It's a veteran move.  Rooks need this kind of mentoring

I like it.

You can also add to it anytime an offensive player tackles his own teammate. As well as watching teammates participate while you are actively out there with them.

Yes, but Jamon committed a classic Sendejoing of Mailata during the game... where he tried to earhole him during a play.
