Yeah but Solak says he looks like a backup and just wins because he's so big and strong🤔

Freaking Solak, that dude is the new ESP😡

Big people beat up little people.

He really isn’t. He’s knowledgable and watches an insane amount of football. That doesn’t make him right, but don’t lump him in with ESP. That’s dumb.

Mailata's splash plays are incredible, but he's inconsistent. If you're evaluating technique, and not results, you're going to be disappointed in him. He's so big/strong/fast that he'll block guys without doing it "correctly". So it depends what you're looking for.

Yup and Mailata is the biggest dude in the yard.

Did he just fire shots at himself?

Sounds more like shots at the coach for not winning with what he's put on the roster.

Targets mean nothing when your QB blows.

OBJ was the #1 in NY. They game planned everything around him(like Dhop).

Like I said, i dont OBJ, I dont want him on the Eagles, I think he's in a bad spot. REALLY BAD SPOT. Sounds like you think it's him, where I think it's baker, the offense and a bad organization.

Yup targets mean nothing only if your QB sucks. It’s only the QBs fault all the time. And I was unaware that Eli Manning was playing at a all pro type of level at the end of his career when for three years he averaged 62.5% completion

And you’re right the Giants Did do that and how successful were they with him as their number one option? Yeah not very successful. So there’s that. Again not all his fault they didn’t have enough talent. Literally Victor Cruz got hurt and was done. Reuben Randle was there number two for two seasons and then they had Sterling Shepard as their number two receiver as a rookie. but then again maybe he’s getting those massive amount of targets because they didn’t have the Necessary talent elsewhere So they just kept feeding him when he was a elite receiver.

also he was injured in 2017 with a major injury. Maybe some of his decline in production is he’s not the same player he was prior to that injury

Also giants have just been a first class organization over the last seven years? You know the one winning record they had and the rest of the time over the last five years they’ve had the worst record in the national football league. Clearly they were a good organization

no I don’t think Baker’s very good. I said that when he came out of Oklahoma he was overrated. However I don’t think it’s all Baker Mayfield fault why Odell Beckham isn’t as great as Odell Beckham was in New York. I think in New York they over targeted him because they catered to his every wish until they got fed up. And they didn’t have much talent in terms of running back or wide receiver outside of Odell when he was there. This is the Jordan Matthews effect. Where Jordan Mathews got a massive amount of targets because he was the only decent wide receiver the Eagles had in 2015 and 2016. Odell is clearly Much better than Mathews but he also clearly got insane amount of targets with the giant because the Giants had poor skill position talent on that team in his three years there. When Reuben randle and a broken down victor Cruz along with rashad Jennings our your weapons then yeah you are going to target odell 160 times.

He keeps saying stupid things like, " Mailata looks like a backup" he's going to get lumped in with morons like ESP.

Agreed.  Which is to be expected.  And the only way he'll get consistent is reps... lots and lots of reps.    I'll take his inconsistency as he learns the technique working with Stout over any other OT we can throw out there.

Apparently people dont know what a troll is.

A troll would say Emmanual Sanders is top 10

Regardless.  OBJ is a cancer, and teams he is on do not win.  There is 15 WR's I would take before him.

Doesn’t sound like a promising roster based on how he described it. He noticeably left out Cousins too.

There's about 150 WRs I'd take over him... maybe 250.  I want no part in him.  Not now, not ever.

Maybe its just me, but I dont care if Mailata turns his back and blocks a guy with his asscrack. A block is a block. If he is neutralizing his man, I really dont care if his technique sucks or not.

Yeah.   🤣   I noticed that.

Said the same thing.

He bases his opinion off a good foundation of knowledge and isn’t one to resort to hot takes for the sake of it.

He’s nothing like ESP.

He honestly should’ve been fired once he extended cousins.

I am sure TJ Watt would have appreciated a properly taught blocking technique instead of this.

Wow. Top 3 pick in the 2019 draft.

Williams was really, really good at Alabama. He's still only 22.

Good lord. TJ Watt was the victim of a hit and run.

Back in the day when I coached little league we played this team where the center would hike the ball on pass plays and not stand up and just turn sideways. Looked stupid but was actually pretty effective. Eventually if I remember we told our DTs to knee the kid in the ribs and knock him over😄

But yeah if Mailata blocks while standing on his head and it works who the eff cares???

Haven’t watched the jets enough to know how he’s specifically looked. Guessing not great cause it’s the jets. But if you could have gotten him for a good price I’d have rather gone that route instead of hargrave. Obviously hindsight now.
