I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam Darnold is available. They are obviously tanking.

I think that would likely be a pre-draft trade if it happens.  They would need to do their due diligence on guys like Lawrence, Fields, etc to make sure they've declared for the draft, are open to playing in NY, etc.

Watch the one surprise being Jamon F'ing Brown is starting again.

Jalen Hurts starting at QB, Carson Wentz starting at RG.  Let's be honest, Wentz' blocking the other day was WAY better than Brown's.  Sure, it was a small sample size, but it was a 20 yard drive block.

I appreciate the optimism but no game in the NFL is ever a given.

Especially division games.

I expect this one may be closer than people would like.

I understand why most feel this way but it’s a no doubter. The Eagles aren’t losing this game. The Giants have 0shot at winning.

True. If I’m Lawrence and the Jets land the first pick, I’m running back to Clemson.

Hopefully it’s Taylor getting the start. We went through the McVey/Shanahan/Roman gauntlet. Now let him face Jason Garrett’s blah offense.

I have a bad feeling the Giants are winning this game.  I hope I am wrong, but I just can't see our OL holding it together.  If Lane can play the entire game, that will help matters. But, that remains to be seen.

You are wrong.

I like the move for Yannick Ngakoue. The Ravens still need one WR who knows what Dez Bryant has left in the tank but I can see them getting one more weapon before trade deadline.

Alshon for a 5th round pick.

That Jalen Hurts Running average is looking better huh?

I think they actually want a good WR.

To be honest Julio Jones is a name to look out for at the deadline. Just depends on how much the Falcons are asking for an aging Guy who has a few years left.

We'll see. We are ripe for the picking right now because of injuries. We will eventually lose one to the Giants at some point. The streak won't go on forever as much as we would like to believe it will.

And if they dont cut him and take on that massive dead cap, his 2022 salary becomes fully guaranteed and is a $45M cap hit. Cousins agent took Spielman behind the woodshed on this one.

I didn't realize that. Wow.

I think they have to keep him right? 45M cap hit KOs next year, because that's dead cap + they still need 2 QBs. Drafting a QB high means not having the OL to support him. Their backup is Sean Mannion, who is terrible.

If Mailata would've sealed that block without getting in Hurts' way on that one run, that might have gone for a lot more yards and possibly 6.

Yes, as the sample size grows, the 'mean' becomes more 'meaningful'.   But, the statistics after 5 carries was inconsequential.  When one run on a gimme skews the mean to bigger than all the other runs, the mean has no meaning.  And I'd still say that the median average is far more meaningful than the mean.

I think if Gase is the coach that will happen but I don't think Douglas is the problem.  I think it will depend on who is the new head coach.  I could definitely see them getting Bienemy or another offensive minded coach that would be appealing for Lawrence.

I have no idea what they do. Its the definition of a lose lose situation.

He was cut...then signed to the PS and now has been elevated from the PS to active roster tonight.  Again, he should not be in the NFL.

My god they are that desperate? What about Wanogho?

Today is an easy win. Put the house dog and kids on an Eagles victory. Guaranteed in the bag. Giants have 0 chance of winning this game.

If you're wrong you'd better have a virtual bag over your head next time you log in.

He did. Last year.

Vikings stink and don't want to sign him to a mega deal.

Why do you guys keep engaging him?

Not under the rookie cap and the point is he would not be "turning it down” he’d be postponing it a year and you could make a strong case that he’d be increasing his earning potential long term.
