Ertz will go this off-season and that's fine. More teams to trade him to. He'll be back later this year and Carson will pump up his trade value with targets.

I believe with the minor designation they aren’t able too. So it’s not gonna happen. 

If Seattle is a serious contender, and they are just a TE away from being great, they might opt to trade for Ertz still.  He would be available for their last 4, possibly 5 games, and then the entire playoff run (and all of next year).  Could we get a 2nd for him at that point?

Ah, I remember getting roasted on the boards for saying it was time to trade Ertz at peak value a year ago.  Imagine a 1st for him 1 year ago.

Exactly. Worry about next year, next year. We still have a season to play, and Zach Ertz is a good player. The November/December/January/February version of the Eagles is a lot better with Ertz on the roster.

I said it two years ago. This offseason I felt he was worth more to us than what we would have got. 

Hakeem Butler signing with the Eagles was not enough.  Hakeem Butler is active for the Eagles.
