Dude dont lump me in that category you and I have talked plenty about this you know where I stand.

Zach Ertz is out there crying for the organization and the fans,  but y’all can’t  wait to see him go. Wentz blows you off, but y’all still defending him.

Kelce and Jeffrey also declined to speak to the media.  you're not calling Kelce a child or saying he's blowing off the fans.

Some people prefer to not take the spotlight.  A lot of these players and coaches HATE that they have to talk to the media.  They want to do their job and they care about their teammates. And they just finished a terrible season.

What Ertz says in a press conference isn't a determining factor if he should stay on the team or not.  It's a nice bonus when players have nice comments about the fans.  But he has a contract dispute and played terrible, and many people questioned his effort this year.  And they have Goedert, and cap hell.  So people figure trade Ertz to get some value and save cap.  Him crying that he loves the city doesn't change any of those factors.

I don't think the fans are the top concern for these players.

I mean that's how I feel. Look I get the argument that says even if he does deny it the media will spin it. It's a big story, its the focus of everyone right now and a story that the media don't want to go away... But look i think if he absolutely wanted to stay then he'd make that clear.

He’s failed them more than they have failed him. He’s not doing what they asked him to do and has constantly butted heads with people in the organization. Bottom line is he doesn’t want to be an Eagle.

Nah you're right, he's failed them. Only put them in prime position to win their only SB, and backpacked no name practice squad guys to the playoffs. His HC thought it was a good idea to trot washed JP and some clown called Jamon to block for him. Who also abandons the run game for long stretches each week, but sure, in some distorted viewpoint Carson has failed the Eagles. Ok man.

The coach made it clear he wants Carson back. He also believes he has a good relationship with Carson. Carson seems to be the one with the issue. Carson is coming off like the one with the issues.

The Super Bowl they won without him, because he took too many risks with his body and they finally caught up to him. The guy who just kept wanting to be the hero instead of just running the offense. The guy who can’t seem to finish seasons, because he can’t stay healthy, and due to inconsistency with his play. Yeah he’s been the model teammate. 🙄

ahhh the haters, now they can read Wentz' mind.

Well I have to be honest, if Doug wants Carson back then he's a moron simple.

Come on dude. Hate the spotlight. Carson’s the same guy saying that’s why he’s the quarterback just weeks ago.

Oh so now he's a bad teammate? I thought it was petulant child? You're all over the place man, make up your mind and stick with it.

For the record, bad teammates don't help out their replacements during the game.

It’s probably just coach speak, but with Doug it’s hard to tell.

I hope it is. I don't know why at this point Doug would want Carson back. And I don't know why Carson would want to be back with Doug.

Well if he wants to walk out he door and bail on them how is he a good teammate?

The coach has to make it seem like he wants Carson back even if he hates his guts, because there’s no guarantee they trade Carson.

I think it's different when you're required to speak after the game.  He didn't even dress for this past game.  Kelce didn't speak to the media either, neither did a bunch of players.

Can't disagree with that. If Carson wants out because he no longer trusts these guys, I say ok thanks for the memories. If he wants out because he doesn't want to compete with Hurts to start or feels it's beneath him, I say F you get out.

A lot of other players didn’t have rumors they wanted out of town either. Oh well I guess it’s okay for the franchise quarterback to leave people thinking he won’t change and he doesn’t want to be here. Yeah that’s the kind of leader the Eagles can win with.

All I’m saying is just a few words would have helped. Heck even if he were critical of the coaches and GM at least it looks like it matters to him. To just blow it all off makes it seem like his mind is made up.

I still think he doesn't owe us anything, but you aren't wrong. Even with the reports from today about him hoping to make it work, without anything official it's not looking good.

The new report sounds like he needs time. Unfortunately this situation doesn’t seem like he will have a lot of time. It’s hard to really gauge the Eagles here too. They’re acting like they want him back, but you can’t really tell. In the end to bring them all back is a big mistake.

You wouldn't be ok with Doug and Carson if by some miracle Howie was kicked to the curb?

Remember Banner was Lurie's guy until he wasn't, I'd LOVE for Howie to be at that point now.

I’m the one who wants Wentz back. Had a bad off year. Doug should go before Wentz.

I mean, I get it.  It's the top topic this offseason.  Kelce may retire and they made a big deal of him staying on the field with Ertz and Wentz for a while after the game.  Ertz did a PC, the other 2 didn't.  Kelce is also apparently upset about Doug benching Hurts and a couple weeks ago was passionate about playing to win.

I get it, I just don't personally take it as a big F you to the fans for Carson to not do an interview with the media.  We don't know what's going on behind the scenes.  Maybe he does want to be traded, maybe he wants to first see what the team wants to do with him.  Maybe he just wants to get away and go hunting and clear his head after his disasterous seasons.  I'm not bothered by Carson not speaking to the media.  I'm bothered by the poor performance on the field and the poor coaching and front office decisions.

I at least was not aware that you work for the Eagles. If you don't work for the Eagles, how do you know he has constantly butted heads...... You heard it/you read it? How much credence do you place in those 'sources'? Has he pissed Alson off? Maybe. Is Alshon being a jerk? Could be. I don't know and I doubt you know.
