Tbh Herbert looks like he is confused and just not comfortable maybe his focus is also elsewhere cause he’s extremely bad this year. I watched that game today and the game before the bye. I really think they just need to clean house. That team is too talented to be 0-7. schedule is hard as faced Buffalo, Seattle, Denver, KC and rams. But even the first two games against the cardinals and raiders they didn’t look right. Should be at least 2-5

Watching the video of him running around the field he didn’t look right. Again, he should not be playing until after their bye week. There’s no reason to play him even if he wants too. I hope he doesn’t overcompensate for the injury has then hurt himself somewhere else. God forbid if it’s a serious injury where it knocks him out for the rest of the year and part of next year (again depending on how bad it is)

If I were a Chargers fan, I’d want them to find a way to trade Herbert at the deadline. Vikings?

He’s not good enough to be a franchise qb moving forward. But he’s too good to allow them to finish 0-17. At some point this year, he’s going to torch their first round pick. And that makes him more valuable off the team than on it, at this point.

If they sell hard enough, they can get #1 overall.

Dan Quinn is going to do what he did in week 1....bring heavy pressure on every play. I am still not confident that the offense has found a consistent answer for that kind of pressure...and with Barkley less than 100% I don't see the running game bailing them out....

I imagine this is going to be ugly and Dan Quinn will be acting as if he's won his fourth straight championship

Honestly, I’d do it for a 4 from a pure football perspective. But it’s not worth it at that point to unload a personality like him who did what he did for them in 2024.

I don’t think the Chargers will do that. I don’t necessarily disagree cause you could cash out on a team like Minnesota who could really use a Qb.

I made the case that the Dallas Cowboys should start thinking about doing that with Dak. Dak Prescott is going to be 34 years old next year. Maybe he has 3 good years left. But if you’re not gonna win a Super Bowl or come close over the next three years you should think about having Minnesota pay you a boatload in draft picks so that you can rebuild the defense and find yourself a quarterback. Dallas will never do it, but realistically, I would think about it if I were them.
