You can fire Sirianni, fire Mannion, fire Howie.

But none of them made Hurts miss that wide open simple lob over a zero blitz, that was a TD if he doesn't over throw it.

He had multiple guys in his face and when he let it go had no way of knowing the DB was going to stay short and not go with Wicks. That said the game is won with a competent head coach who kicks a touchback after taking the lead.

I've reached the point where I don't think I can even stomach watching anymore. Haven't felt like this in a long time. ugh....

Fire Sirianni!!!

This is prime example of how much of a liablity Nick Siranni is to this team.

It's been an emotional week, you're playing with a bunch of 3rd/4th string and PS players.

You come within a second of winning this game and this **** of a HC Fs it all up!!!!

No. That's not how that works. You avoid the return since kickers are kicking further than ever now. Forcing the Hail Mairy with no timeouts and no time on the clock is a no brainer and the lowest % play.

Like I said, if they bombed it for a TD, everyone would say they should have fielded it. I’m not saying it was the correct call but that play wasn’t the only play that lost us the game.

I guess we will agree to disagree here, but really that doesn’t ha[pen if the Eagles once they got into field goal range ran the ball. Instead they were throwing and trying to get out of bounds. Why??? A field goal wins the game so why are they trying to score there especially since they were struggling the entire second half! Stupid coaching. Frankly if they ate the clock then they’re kicking that ball with less than 5 second left and there is no kickoff.

I agree wholeheartedly. We should have never game them time after the field goal.

You gotta be kidding me OK let me explain in that situation. They’re gonna be playing prevent defense a receiver is not gonna get behind the defense in that play. There’s no way they would score a touchdown there I mean come on Jesus Christ.

I said what I said, we are free to agree to disagree.

Organizationally they need to take a hard look at everyone from the top all the way to the parking attendants. Revamp everything.

I have always believed that since players vs. players are what wins most games, the owner should first invest in the player personnel department to build the very best one in the NFL. To me, it's the most important part of the organization. Building through the draft builds championship teams. Can't miss a lot there or you're done before you start. Lurie should have that as #1 on his to do list every year. If it were me, Howie would be in my office receiving a mandate to get it done and his job would rest on the results. It's Howie time and he should be fully aware of that.

It's like Sirianni has no feel for the game itself. No nuance or intuition.

Howie is going to need more assets to make this work. Like you mentioned it needs to happen during the offseason, but I think it’s getting to a point where the Eagles need to decide if the want to trade away players for assets (when healthy) or wait till the offseason. I don’t think they can give up assets right now to bring guys in though. If they are going to retool, this could mean moving on from some really good players too though. Are people ready to lose guys like Q and Coop?

I can handle losing the way we lost to Chicago. 1 team just dominated every where. What i can't stand is losing bc of coaching decisions that anyone with a brain wouldn't make the same calls.

How is Sirianni surviving. IT's stupidity every week now that he doesn't have top talent to cover up his ineptitude. He has millions of $ now. His family will be fine. Just fire him for crying out loud.

Goodbye, Nick. It was fun defending you. You're the James Franklin of the NFL.

Ellitos just said he was told to kick in bounds

It was a simple throw that any pro QB should be able to make without trying, get out of here with this nonsense, Lawrence had Carter and Ojomo bearing down on him multiple times and still got accurate throws off.

There's no excuse for missing that throw, I've been defending the guy for 4 years even though there was always a suspicion that as a passer he didn't quite have it, but no one can defend that throw it was awful, you could get Nick Foles or Kevin Kolb out of retirement and they make that throw 9 times out of 10 and Kolb probably still doesn't know what day it is.

It was a godawful throw.

What a Fing way to lose

Yeah, I thought we were over heartbreaking losses, but they have returned. This team just isn't good enough.

And whomever told him that, should be terminated effective immediately. Jeff Lurie should make that call.

Just add these fools to ignore. They are literally not worth you seeing what they type.

He also threw an int with guys bearing down on him.

I’m with ya, it’s time to cut him lose, but Who would even be the interim HC?

We got Jim Fasseled

Or made Godderdt drop a pass right to him. Or let them return the kickoff to fg range.

Same as kicking it into the end zone with 0 chance of a return.

I mean if they knew by pregame that Jake for whatever reason couldn’t make it into the end zone then simply kick it out of bounds. With that being the case it should never have happened, because Nick and Mannion were foolishly being aggressive when they originally got into field goal range. They should have started running the ball to force the Jags to call time outs and then ran the clock. Instead they almost got picked off, and they left way too much time left on the clock. It was a poor performance by the coaches there.

Fire Sirianni!!!

He's not getting fired. Not yet, anyway. There are no leaders left to pick up the scraps. Fangio wouldn't be able to get this sheet-show turned around, and he probably wouldn't want it either. If we still had Kellen Moore we probably wouldn't be in this situation, however there is no "next great HC" currently waiting in the wings under Sirianni. We're stuck with him at least until the end of the season unless the locker room becomes super toxic too.

As much of an idiot sirianni is, how about making a tackle

It's actually kind of funny, in hindsight, on that KO return, if they would have just let the Jag returner run like a few more yards, then they would have tackled him with 0.0 seconds left. No time for a winning attempt of a FG.

It's going to be that kind of season, ladies. So buckle up and embrace the suck and ineptitude. About 12 more games to go? YAAAYYYY!!
