If Nick loses the locker room then I think you have no choice to move on as quickly as possible. That just doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. Until that time I think Nick at least brings some stability, if nothing else.

How can this locker room be with him? And not thinking "what does this guy actually do that helps us out”.

We played two of the best teams in the NFL and lost. The Bears game could be one of those NFL outliers? Don’t know how to correct things, but I’m still hoping for the best. By the way the horror movie I watched Steven King’s "Desperation” seemed appropriate.

It's like Sirianni has no feel for the game itself. No nuance or intuition.

I've heard no serious reporting to the contrary and I'm not one to assume I know what's going on in the locker room. If/When players start to go public with their frustrations about Nick, then it will be clear it's time to move on.

Makes you want to leave him in London. Sirianni has been lost this year.

That wasn't the plan last wk? Only justification for him being employed after that rams game

Tomlin would be a better option than Sirianni. Let him just tidy and sort things up. At least that way we’d see whether Mannion can be a good OC or not without Nick the Dick meddling.

Perfect Bachelor Party reference....

Hurts was the least of the issues today. Poor offensive game plan. Zero running game. Receivers who can’t get open. Stupid play calls. You were just looking to blame Jalen. He gave his team a lead the last time he was on the field.

This ⬆️ for me. I had to listen to the game on WIP today and the amount of time Merrill and Mike said "no open receivers” was ridiculous. Every play. They were struggling to get open. Plus the Jags defense adjusted after the half (as usual against the Eagles) and Hurts had little to nothing to throw to (I appreciate that he missed on 3 or 4 throws).

I can see there being bad blood between the defense and offense pretty soon. Only one side of the ball holding up there part of the bargain.

These guys seem to be playing hard, but they’re not executing and their lack of focus especially with the missed blocks, and bad penalties. That stuff to me is an indication of coaching and his preparation.

I don’t think you will ever see these guys do that… Wait actually Jalen’s done it before. Still I don’t think you will see a full public outcry against the head coach. They didn’t even do that to Chip Kelly and the players hated that guy. Behind the scenes is a different story though and Lurie likes to know what’s going on with his team.

I’ve heard that Nick could be gone before the Carolina game… and if not then it could be if they lose to Carolina

I agree and is just another reason he needs to go. I just don't believe we're saving this season by making a change now.

Probably not, but I have doubts they’re saving it by keeping Nick either.

You can sit here and debate all you want. I'm just going to disagree. It's clear that decision was stupid. Other stupid decisions doesn't change that. Both can be true.

That’s literally what I said.

IIRC...there was talk and rumors about chip losing the locker room. Even if there was no direct quotes from the players the beat reporters were surely indicating there were at least questions being raised. When the beat reporters start openly talking about a coaching change you know there's something brewing behind the curtain.

Yeah it’s early too and this would be an abrupt change. I also remember Chip got fired because he missed the ownership’s office party. You aren’t going to get a lot of these guys going against Nick at this moment. Maybe you will hear things later though. Still right now the Philly media is killing Nick.

Siri cannot keep preaching 'details' to his team, and then himself NOT BE DETAILED. That's how he'll eventually lose the Locker Room.

I was a fan of his goofiness and cockiness. Now though, the shine is gone and like most NFL (or any Pro Sport really), it's very soon time for a change.

A lot work to be done this off-season. Need 2-3 OLinemen, a new DC, 2 new TEs, 2 new Safeties........yeeesh.

If that's the case I'm not against it. The FO has a better beat on what's really going on behind the scenes and if they think it's time for a change now, I'm not going to second guess that decision. All I'm really saying is I don't think it would be malpractice to keep Nick around until the end of the season.

You Fing moron that is what I Fing said. Why don’t you try reading what I said you stupid F. When you are told not to kick in the end zone, that means kicking in play.

Good job editing it after the fact.

Think about this weird fact- they had the Rams beat last week, and the should have won this game.

That would have put them at 4-1. How weird this freekin game can be.

Our scheme sucks and has for the last 2 years...stop hiring newbie coordinators 🤦‍♂️

The could fire Nick and make Fangio interim coach.

Bring in Doug or Foles or both to be CEO, game day decision guy.

Let Fangio stay on D.

I don't care. I didn't see you saying kick it to the end zone?

If Cam Jurgens (who is only on the field because Siri was the only person in the Philly region who thought he belonged there) does not hit Hurts and pop the ball up, Tank waltzes into the end zone and the Eagles beat the Rams too.
