I mean if they knew by pregame that Jake for whatever reason couldn’t make it into the end zone then simply kick it out of bounds. With that being the case it should never have happened, because Nick and Mannion were foolishly being aggressive when they originally got into field goal range. They should have started running the ball to force the Jags to call time outs and then ran the clock. Instead they almost got picked off, and they left way too much time left on the clock. It was a poor performance by the coaches there.

all the more reason why I think the NFL is fixed or scripted. Everyone in the stands or at home watching on TV can see the obvious but these professionals can't see it. They can't be that stupid.

Siriani says he made the decision and says he lost the game for not making the right decision. He should pay the price for that.

I wonder if Jake just couldn't kick it out of the endzone?? Does he have the leg to do so? If not, fine. Squib is right down the middle of the field or kick it out bounds.

Yeesh, this Coaching Staff gets dumber by the week.

Like I said, if they bombed it for a TD, everyone would say they should have fielded it. I’m not saying it was the correct call but that play wasn’t the only play that lost us the game.

The odds of that happen are really low. The hypothetical stuff that didn't happen doesn't matter. It was a pathetic decision period.

After losing like that, I can’t watch football for the rest of the day. Going to watch horror movies to cheer me up.

It was a simple throw that any pro QB should be able to make without trying, get out of here with this nonsense, Lawrence had Carter and Ojomo bearing down on him multiple times and still got accurate throws off.

There's no excuse for missing that throw, I've been defending the guy for 4 years even though there was always a suspicion that as a passer he didn't quite have it, but no one can defend that throw it was awful, you could get Nick Foles or Kevin Kolb out of retirement and they make that throw 9 times out of 10 and Kolb probably still doesn't know what day it is.

It was a godawful throw.

You're not wrong but you also gotta look at other QBs who've missed wide open guys against us that bailed us out. Not of that matters if the ball was kicked into the endzone instead of giving up a big return

Well some people have been critical of Sirianni for some time now. Maybe he’s been bailed out by the talent on the roster even more than Jalen has.

Who cares. He'll keep coaching the same. His words mean nothing. Just empty promises anymore. I've been done with him since last year.

The odds were very low for them to run to our 40 yard line with 1 second remaining but here we are. It’s all hypothetical.

I wonder if the Ohio State Coach, or Indiana HC, would want to come up to the NFL and Coach the Iggles..............or did we learn our lesson with the hiring of the Human Thumb, Chip Kelley. LOL

The Eagles are 4-2 right now if the head coach was a dog with buttons.

Cam Jurgens would not have been in the game to hit the ball out of Hurts' hands last week.

Jake would have kicked the ball out of the end zone.

Hunt would not be injured on the Siri timeout for the Jags bonus play at the end of the half.

Dude is 2 clear and obvious wins below replacement after 6 weeks.

I'm not watching. F football. F the NFL especially.

We don't know if Hurts was anticipating the stop start move from Wicks but even then, he has to put more under that ball.

He also threw it going backwards from immediate pressure.

Honestly it is shocking the Eagles kept it competitive. With that said lets pray the Redskins upset the Annoying Giants so the NFC East is at least an interesting race.

He definitely has the leg for it. He does what he's told. Wish he didn't listen

I just heard him say he was told to kick it out of the end zone. He didn’t have enough leg.

no he was told not to kick out of end zone

I love that this team won 2 SBs and got to a 3rd in the last 10 years.

I am also completely disappointed in Howie and Lurie for letting this Siri BS continue.

Doug was out after 3 years and Siri has been 5x as incompetent as Doug.

The Doug issue was mostly a revolt by his loser toddler QB who stopped talking to him.

Siri is milk that expired in 2023. We won with it in the back of the fridge in 2024.

It has now exploded and its gotten into the living room and the hallway.

So rewatching the last three weeks?

It's not hypothetical they lost by the decision they made that is fact.

They lost by a bunch of decisions they made.

That poster just can't admit his take is stupid.

You can sit here and debate all you want. I'm just going to disagree. It's clear that decision was stupid. Other stupid decisions doesn't change that. Both can be true.

Coaches told Elliott to keep the ball in play according to Elliott. The coaches screwed the pooch.

I cannot fing believe this crap

Yep. Nick just admitted to it too. No defending this.
