If it comes out that Nick was behind all this, he'll never coach in the NFL again.

Bro was forced to stay awake for 36h then play football. And how did Nick reward him? By pissing away the game.

Downplaying to the public is one thing, but we don't know what's happening behind the scenes. I wouldn't read too much into it, especially when they're dealing with HIPPA sort of information that they have to be careful with.

The fact that Jalen has his own medical team, tells me everything I need to know. If they truly cared about him as a human being, they wouldn't have made him travel and make him start without 36 hours of sleep.

I can't express how pissed off I am at the Eagles organization. I don't care how you feel about Jalen as a QB, this is beyond that. There is no way you allow a player with blood clots, and who has not slept in 36 hours to play the game. Even if he didn't have blood clots and was simply up for 36 hours, what kind of performance would you have expected from him? The whole thing is malpractice. If I were Jalen the team would be named Jalen Eagles because I would own them after suing them into oblivion

Why on earth they would try and get Herbert is beyond me. The guy sucks with no OL in LA and is arguably the worst QB in the league rn, yet people would expect him to shine behind this OL and banged up roster?? 🤣

Everyone says the guys is so great. He’s the prototypical excuse machine quarterback these people have been fawning for since Wentz. They miss those prevent defense stats Wentz used to put up when the game was out of hand due to the three picks he threw earlier in the game when it mattered . Get these losers the stats they need, because clearly winning championships doesn’t matter to those dopes.

That was my first thought too I hope Hurts was pissed

It's going to be interesting if it ever comes out to know who gave the ok for Hurts to play vs Jacksonville

Having his own medical team in this kind of situation isn't something I'd read too much into. That's just smart business on his part, and I don't know if they did this or would, but the team should insist he have his own personal doctors involved. I wouldn't allow my employer's doctors deal with life and death medical issues for me, if it was me.

I haven't read a whole lot about it because I have a bit going on right now, a couple of deaths in the family in the past couple of weeks, so I can't say that the Eagles are doing everything 'right', but I'm not going to jump all over them without knowing the full story, either.

I cant stand Herbert personally. Overhyped Tannehill to me.

I cannot imagine Nick was behind any of this. He’s a bubble head, yes. But I would have to believe that the Medical Teams involved in this matter made all of the decisions. And maybe Jalen too.

Herbert is the quintessential quarterback according to Orlovsky, Cowturd, and all of the other talking heads. Bring him in so we can lose and get the excuses going.

I was thinking this would come down to a decision between Nick or Howie but I can't imagine Nick would be the one to make it... I'd venture a guess to say it was Roseman... Just my feeling 🤷

Id probably not watch the rest of the season if they did that. Dude is hard to watch

As much as I dislike him, you're probably right. He was hired to be a "yes" man, so I doubt that Lurie or Roseman would let him make such a high-level decision.

Whoever was involved in that decision should be fired immediately. I suspect an NFL investigation will start soon.

He’s gonna get you that 3k + passing yards a season. We will go out in the first round and the media and the stat happy fan base can blame everyone but him for the issues. It’s perfect for them.

Just to play devils advocate here, but, no one made or forced Jalen to play in that game. There were 3 medical teams involved (Eagles, Jalen’s, and the London one). They all most likely came to the conclusion that Jalen could play, if he wanted to. As the movement of him playing was better than him sitting stationary for hours.

If anything, it was the flying back that probably was the worst decision. Should have stayed across the pond and gotten as much treatment as possible for the issue.

Same with the sleeping matter. 8-10 hours of non-movement would have exacerbated the clot issue. So they kept him awake for as long as possible and probably kept him moving as well…..stretching, stationary bike, walking in the hotel, etc….

I’m just assuming all of this. I have no proof or evidence. Just me playing an MB doctor. 😊😊

Tbf 3k isnt much of a feat. Im more of a playoff win guy myself

Jalen played exactly like you would expect someone to play who hadn’t slept in 36 hours. Forget the time change - he probably didn’t even know what day it was.

His agent has come out and said that is not the case, he slept after treatment, and had a place to sleep at the stadium.

Me too, but the clowns are thirsty for stats so give them what they want. This generation doesn’t know what it’s like to lose or how quickly you can go from winning championships to waiting 30 plus years for the next one. Perhaps they need to learn the hard way.

The whole he stayed up for 36 hours thing because sleeping is dangerous with a blood clot was pretty laughable. Like at 37 hours everything is super ok. But flying and playing football is totes cool. Just don't ever sleep again! People will believe anything they read on the internet.

I’m not a medical expert, but it sounds like the Eagles botched this once they found out the diagnosis.
