The Blog thread is just crazy slow for me, when trying to get in it, then trying to post. And it’s only pre-season. Hopefully this can get updated before the actual season starts.

Actually, it’s been this way all summer for me.

Today, when trying to save an edit to a thread, I got blocked by Go Daddy

It's been like that every gameday since the update and was never fixed. So expect it to be bad during the season

The board needs to upgrade to the version that fixes these bugs. @VaBeach_Eagle has been offline for long periods caring for his mother's health. He has the technical knowledge for this. He recently said he would handle. We just have to wait.

Good news. Heard back from VA. He's doing well, has been very busy with some work things. He has contacted his developer friend to get the upgrade started, and he hopes that will also address the Go Daddy access issues.

So if the board goes down then we should just assume it's from the bugs getting fixed? Well at least it's before the season starts

Remind me of what the GoDaddy issues are. I'll let Mark know what they are and if he can address them, he will. If he can't, I'll go after GoDaddy. Maybe the upgrade will solve it, but I'm not counting on that for now.

It just shows a Go Daddy logo screen sometimes and won't load the site. I forget if there's any wording of an error. Maybe we can get a screen shot when it happens to someone again.

If it's the same issue from last year, there may already be a screen shot, but if it happens again soon, get one and email it to me or post it here.

I didn't think to do a screenshot and just kept refreshing until it happened. I think it was one of those that showed the 3 locations but the 3rd (the host) wasn't connecting or answering. It hasn't happened since

It'll be a full upgrade that will likely break the skin and that'll need to be updated, too. Don't worry about the funds though, if everyone uses the Amazon link, that's ok. But part of my absence has been working on issues that now make it so that donations and outside funds are really not needed. The Amazon link is nice to help offset the expenses, but I'm going to foot the bills myself, regardless. Donations are nice and appreciated, but I always felt a little bad about them.

I haven't looked to see what Invision has added (or subtracted), so I don't know at this moment on the features. For 25 years though, that's always been my biggest complaint on Invision. They do so many upgrades that you can't keep up!

The Amazon link does help and does add to the 'coffers'. But I'm in a better position now so that I can cover all of the expenses if the other efforts leave the funds short. That's not to say that everyone should forget about the Amazon aspect. Every bit helps, especially when upgrades and skin work are factored it. But I'd rather everyone do the Amazon link than give donations and come out of their own pockets.
