  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

sorry about your dog, mr snow. :meh:

thanks. not fishing for sympathy, she's 12 and for all she's dealing with pretty damn spry. but she noticeably lost weight and had some weird bouts of stuff, and after blood and urine tests sure enough her kidneys are starting to go.

I'm glad we caught it now, we can do some things to keep her quality of life up. she is a pain in the butt with begging for food at dinner, is smart enough to know how to open the trash and dig for "gold" despite childproofing, and is like Houdini escaping our back yard to visit the neighbors until they call telling us to get our dog out of their yard, but damn if I won't miss her when she's gone.

Trump is old news,  the fact that under Biden we are doing far worse, doesn't speak well for Biden. I mean Trump was such an idiot and yet Biden cant even out perform a very LOW hanging bar, and you all are high fiving each other.....

it is a cult.

Speak for yourself and stop making excuses for being at best, average. Also, why do you hate Jesus so much?

can you honestly expand on that?

I get that inflation and supply chain issues - which are really linked - are something we're dealing with. but what are the other economic indicators that - relative to Jan 20 2021 - are doing "far worse"?

in serious talk, I have not loved everything that Biden has done. but objectively I cannot see how things are "far worse" than they were under Trump.

so other than inflation being the highest since what the late 80's? And the supply chain issues, (and you are correct they are somewhat linked)?

And other than Afghanistan pull out and handing over Military equipment to the hands of our enemies, and leaving people behind?  The weaponization of the FBI and DOJ?  The unconstitutional overreach by way of OSHA and the Vaccine Mandate?

All in a short 10-11 Months of office, what more can he do in the next 3 years?

how about we give inflation some time. in 2020 inflation was 1.2% - it had completely bottomed out. there are now supply chain issues, which are global and not linked to Biden policies, coupled with incredibly strong demand because people are both employed and flush with cash. so ... prices are going up. that's capitalism. if you want lower inflation in this particular situation you're looking at more centralized economic models like ... socialism and communism.

the Afghanistan exit was not good, but who the hell is even talking about that now? we're out. most people are pretty happy with that, full stop. leaving the Kurds high and dry is arguably a worse move by and large, but I don't hear people talking about that much in the context of Trump's presidency. the important thing is that we're out of Afghanistan.

I don't think you want to get into a discussion of the "weaponization of the FBI and DOJ". I'm sorry but you have no legs to stand on there, especially if you're comparing him to Trump, Barr & co. (which is exactly what you're proffering, so this isn't a "but Trump" answer - you specifically stated things are "far worse" than under Trump)

OSHA was an overreach, as presidents are wont to do, and he was smacked down by the courts. I was not a fan of it, despite my support for private companies instituting their own mandates. and again, executive overreach is hardly a Biden exclusive here; it's been going on as long as we've had an American President.

none of these are "far worse" than they were under Trump.

Your memory isn't good. Let me refresh it...

Maybe appointing relatives to high positions in government isn't the draining of the swamp we were promised...

Rhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee MAGA Rheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!1!1!!1!1!

Maybe expanding the power of the executive branch and setting the precedent that the president can divert congressionally appropriated funds upsets checks and balances...

Rhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee MAGA Rheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!1!1!!1!1!

Maybe talking about running for  3rd, 4th, and 5th term in clear violation of the constitution isn't a good thing for the morale of the country...

Rhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee MAGA Rheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!1!1!!1!1!

Trump never did come up with a solution to Obamacare, why isn't he working on that?

Rhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee MAGA Rheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!1!1!!1!1!

Maybe torturing children to own the libs isn't morally befitting the USA...

Are you talking about Trump supporters?

Because it sounds an awful lot like Trump supporters to those of us paying attention the last 5 years.

Which candidate would you say the Qanon community voted for and supports?

I don't know if anybody has been following the nomination of Saule Omarova to be the comptroller of the currency, but a communist whose background includes a shoplifting arrest doesn't seem to be the right choice.

But Biden stealing the election, molesting his daughter and putting Hunter in charge of everything is totes real!!!!!!!!!!

I would love if one of the progressives on this thread provide us with their valuable insight into why Saule Omarova is the right choice to become comptroller of currency.  @Boogyman, why don't you enlighten us?
