It's funny that you would still say "if" instead of "when" in reference to him running. But let's be honest here, after everything that's happened, you know deep down inside, you're still gonna vote for him when you get inside that booth. You're not fooling anyone, bud.

I prefer someone else run. If he gets the nomination, probably, but I prefer he not run even though he can't be talked out of it.

July 15, 20223 yr Are they even still doing nominations? I thought they were just skipping all that stuff from now on.

Especially after I saw a poll just the other day that 24% of Democrats want him to run. Because I imagine 100% of republicans want to see him be the nominee.
July 15, 20223 yr I would think it would be common sense for everyone to want two competent candidates in case their guy loses, but it doesn't seem many people think that way.

Biden is one of the few viable candidates that can beat Trump. So many others are DOA right outta the gate.

You're gonna tell me Jalen Hurts won't lead us to a second Super Bowl title?
July 15, 20223 yr It's still cute how people think the gop nominee isn't going to be Trump. He's already said he's going to announce. He trouncing every other republican in the polls. His party will cancel the primaries for him like they did in 2020. The democrats know Biden is their best chance at beating him. Stop denying reality. It's going to be Biden vs. Trump...again. No matter how much you want to wish it away.

I just think having a candidate with some of the lowest approval ratings in my lifetime and is acting strokey without having an actual stroke would be cannon fodder.
July 15, 20223 yr just like in 2020, people will unenthusiastically vote for biden if he's running against the compete disaster that is trump...but i think most of us would prefer someone who wasn't born in the f'n 1940's.

Normally he would be, but when he's running against a guy who wanted to nuke hurricanes, it tends be overshadowed.

People are fantasizing that there's someone better out there. That JFK is going to arrive from 1960 via time machine. There is no one else. People just don't follow politics closely enough to realize it.

The republicans are even stupider than the democrats, which is why they will lose.

The reality is that they are a loosely connected coalition (cluster F is more like it) of progressives, traditional union democrats, gay rights activists, woke socialists, a few centrists, and people who hate Trump and have nowhere else to go (most of us here who identify as democrat). It's almost impossible to get all of those various groups to line up behind one candidate. The fact that Biden pulled it off is something he isn't given enough credit for.
July 15, 20223 yr I'm not sure there's a candidate more vilified in his own party than Manchin. I would have a better chance in the dem primary than he does.
