July 28, 20223 yr I think the marine is the same dude a few years ago accused of being a spy (made big headlines on the local news here) and from what I remember his situation is a bit tricky as he was engaged in some consulting or some such activities and got tangled up with some shady characters. Not saying he is or isn't a spy, but it's far different from Griner's situation where she got pinched for some weed. Either way though, the absolute worst case scenario for Biden is another Otto Warmbier situation, but this would be even worse because she's a professional athlete. Could be that they're desperate to take the worst case scenario off the table.
