The second Iraq War (there really were weapons of WMD) Let me educate you - there is one sure way in the U.S. that you can't go wrong with this stuff - follow the friggin' money. People in power are more often than not corrupt. If they get us into a war, look at whether the war is really necessary and whether there are special interests making a fortune from that. With the JFK assassination, the Vietnam War followed shortly after he was killed. With the Iraq War, look at the Haliburton no-bid contract. Look to global warming - do you really trust government bureaucrats and elected officials to competently handle large sums of money and do the right thing? If you couldn't trust a family member, friend, or neighbor with money is a situation, I wouldn't expect a politician to be honest with it. I guess you do, so that's where we differ.
