Check out this guy downplaying a piece like this from the Brookings Institute.  😂🤣

Yeah if only we had reality to point to

How long did Biden tell us the Afghan military would hold out, again?  2-3 months?

It was like 2-3 days.

That is our president and intelligence services completely whiffing again.  But yeah the Brookings institute has the proper analysis for you

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Backed us into a corner that you literally just admitted existed regardless of who was in office or what was done.

You just said there was no way of preventing the Taliban from taking over, correct?

Trump agreed with that assessment and had enough balls to finally get us out of that hellhole.  He had it teed up for Biden who stepped up to the plate and sharted himself on a global stage.

Trump should be applauded for doing what no lifelong politician would have done.  We all know that with Hilarry in office, we're still fighting the Perma-Wars in the middle east.

Even if Trump runs, who is kicking his ass?  Biden??  Lol

Oh, you are the guy whose only gets raises depending on who is in office because you obviously suck at everything you do. My bad, but even you have to admit you are an extremely forgettable person.

Doubtful. My family is not big on sandwiches. I stir fry a lot for lunch since I'm home. Lots of veggies.

Biden surrendered the entire country of Afghanistan to Al Qaeda

If you voted for Biden, you can kindly stfu about anything to do with that country

Just one year ago, Biden was on his hands and knees begging this dude to allow him to evacuate all the people Biden abandoned in that country

So please, dont make me laugh. Kill all those MFers, I dont care.  But don't try spiking the football when your guy surrendered the entire country to the Taliban less than 1 year ago.

 you morons spent four years spiking the football every time Trump managed to make it through the day with a clean diaper.

Oh that's weird, because I distinctly recall Trump negotiating with the Taliban and not with the Afghan military. I wonder why he did that when he could've just worked with the Afghan military, but sure let's blame Biden for the failure of the Afghan military, and not Trump who had 4 years to prepare them. Solid logic again.

Hell I remember Trump wanted to bring Taliban leaders to Camp David.

We killed the dude with a missile-guided samurai sword. Fing metal.

Biden thinks he is the vice president.

He said he would love to drive the E-corvette when it comes out, currently being tested in Germany. But he can't drive cars like that while he is vice president.

dude your BDS is off the charts. first off, he said that a year ago. so I dunno why you're talking about it now. second, he's a car guy. saying he'd love to drive it is not surprising. so I'm not even sure what your BDS is trying to get at here, he expressed a sentiment that he'd love to drive an electric American muscle car.

you BDS sufferers figure out a way to twist every damn thing the guy says into an argument of how he's unfit.

what I came in here to post is this: WSJ: Sen. Kyrsten Sinema Wins Tax Changes to Democrats’ Climate Bill

short of it is: carried interest loophole reform is out, tax on stock buybacks in.

key paragraph:

Quote

Under the changes negotiated with Ms. Sinema, Democrats will pare back elements of a 15% minimum tax on large, profitable corporations and drop a proposed tax increase on carried-interest income, according to people familiar with the agreement. Democrats will add a 1% tax on stock buybacks to the legislation, as the party aims to still reduce the deficit by about $300 billion in the legislation, according to these people.

also: WSJ: The U.S. economy added a robust 528,000 jobs in July, the Labor Department said Friday, returning payrolls to their prepandemic level. The jobless rate dropped to 3.5%.

Quote

Businesses have continued to hire despite two straight quarters of economic contraction, cooling consumer spending and rising risks of a recession. Overall employment also has nearly returned to prepandemic levels. But demand for workers is cooling as the economy transitions away from the red-hot expansion that followed the elimination of Covid-19-related restrictions on business activity.

Some companies such as Walmart Inc. and Robinhood Markets Inc. are cutting staff, but overall layoffs are slowly rising, according to weekly unemployment claims.

"Companies used to reach for layoffs as the first option,” said Greg Daco, chief economist for EY-Parthenon, a consulting firm. "Now we’re seeing slower hiring as option number one, followed by targeted hiring freezes, followed by targeted layoffs, followed by broader layoffs.”

U.S. job openings remained elevated but fell in June to their lowest level in nine months and fell by 600,000 from May, according to a separate report from the Labor Department released Tuesday. Total job openings remained well above the number of unemployed workers looking for a job.

weirdest recession ever.
