January 22, 20232 yr Now classified documents from when he was in the senate. Turns out that when KJP kept saying that Pop Pop ‘’takes classified documents seriously’’ it was a typo. What she meant to say was he ‘’seriously takes classified documents’’.

It’s getting ridiculous. I still don’t believe there is bad intent but FFS, it’s obvious he doesn’t take it seriously.

January 22, 20232 yr To be fair, when you're president or vice president at least you have staff who are primarily responsible for securing these documents. The president is ultimately responsible but as a practical matter the president is not spending their time filing paperwork. Which is why if Trump returned the documents when it was requested of him it wouldn't have been a big deal. The difference here is in how these materials are being handled when classified documents are found outside the archives. Appointing the special counsel is a political necessity, but there is no equivalence in terms of how each is responding: one is recognizing they're in error and making sure documents are secured expeditiously, while the other fought for a year to keep "his" documents, culminating in the need to actually raid his basement to try and regain custody. Yes Biden (and most politicians) are too casual with this material. It's also probably safe to say that the government classifies far more than it really needs to. But that's where the similarities end.

But yeah, to be fair, your ‘’fairness’’ is exactly what the narrative engineers have spoonfed to you.
