February 8, 20232 yr President Joe Biden, at the ripe age of 80, came out with ample vim and vigor in Tuesday night’s State of the Union address and proceeded to mop the House floor with the howling, discombobulated remains of the Republican Party. Preaching populism and leaning hard on his noted skill as the empathizer-in-chief, Biden bounded through a speech that acknowledged the nation’s struggles while remaining unerringly optimistic. He went off script regularly, parrying Republican lawmakers who heckled him, at one point backing the whole party into a corner and getting them to swear to protect Medicare and Social Security benefits. I’ve never seen anything like it in a State of the Union speech – they ran at him like a pack of lemmings and, with a wink and a grin, he politely directed them to the cliff. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/dark-brandon-shows-up-at-state-of-the-union-mops-the-floor-with-lost-republicans/ar-AA17evaH?ocid=entnewsntp&cvid=0843d9ba530444d2914937da901b5fac Thanks Uncle Joe! I still think you should retire and not run again, pretty please!

I saw it but have seen enough different cultures to not get triggered over it. MAGA red necks who rarely leave the county they live in might have issues though.

February 8, 20232 yr I'm not sure what the best part was. When he said we would need oil for another 10 years or whatever it was he mumbled about raising the cost of frisigzumnig jobs. Then the left cheered. Cheered what exactly, who knows, because it was not a word in the English dictionary. But they cheered!!
February 8, 20232 yr February in another year where thankfully, Biden is president, and Trump is at home burying wives on NJ golf courses, or foaming at the mouth.

I'm not being sarcastic, I'm looking for an honest answer. What exactly are you thankful for from Biden? Genuine curiosity.

February 8, 20232 yr And why is it whenever I, or anyone else asks a straightforward question about Biden, the response is always name calling, a meme, a insult, a Trump comparison, etc... Just answer the ukn question.

Just answer the ukn question. It's pretty straightforward -- he's the best of a group of terrible alternatives. Obviously, his most redeeming quality is not being Donald Trump. But then look at the other Democrats that ran in 2020 -- Sanders? Warren? Biden is basically the least objectionable. Bad policies, not a great President, but at least he isn't trying to execute a coup or introduce true socialism. That's the bar now. Just don't be completely awful. The terrifying thought is what replaces him.

Just answer the ukn question. The whole thread is reasons why we support Biden. Use the previous tab and you'll see a million reasons. I love him because everyone I know and love was fired from their jobs under Trump and then re-hired immediately the day Biden took office. I don't want to put words in other people's mouths, but I believe Dave loves him because of the massive bulge in his pants and because he says what he means and means what he says. Hunt loves him because he loves America in a very hetero way. And Toastrel loves him because he wears an onion on his belt, which was the style of the time.

I was having a hard time seeing the post of people saying that he is so good and life is great with him in charge,etc....I personally don't agree with that and was wanting to know what exactly formed their feeling that way.
