Winning the division would be the worst thing for the future of this team.

What a shame! The problem starts with Howie and rolls down though the coaching staff before we even get to the players. This is really a crap fest of a team right now. Sadly being in the NFC east we can't even really "tank" anymore than we already have without still being in 1st place.

Even last year the Eagles won this division basically by default and not be they were good. Howie has built an old overpaid roster that plays more undrafted free agents than it does people he drafted! To me Howie is the one who needs to go first and foremost.

We should stop assuming Doug has the power to bench Wentz at all. I think Carson has more pull in the organization that Doug has. 

I got sick of this sh** and went out riding my Onewheel for a few hours, missed the 2nd half, and for the 1st time in a long time- I don't feel guilty. This org is an embarrassment and this season is an embarrassment. I refused to waste ALL of my Sunday on this trash. F this team. Until major changes take place- F this team.

Howie has to go. Wentz needs to go and I think Doug probably needs to go.

And we made the postseason in 2018 because the Vikings collapsed.

He was asked about whether or not he has the authority to bench Wentz and sidestepped the question. So no matter what I don't think Wentz will be benched.

Agreed, Howie needs to go first and Schwartz’s contract ends so he won’t be back. Let the new GM decide Doug’s fate. I thought Doug was safe but now I’m not so sure.

In reality, Wentz won't go. IMO Doug has another year left to right the ship but he needs to give up play calling. Schwartz needs to go.

I just don't see it. This team is very likely going to manage one more win this year. That leaves them with a record of 4-11-1. I just can't see a HC surviving that.

I’m not surprised he sidestepped the question. He doesn’t control the roster.

It’s weird and the drop off is crazy but I’m certain Wentz is the main problem and not Doug.
 

I mean even when Mccown entered the game vs Atlanta last year all of a sudden our ice cold offense started moving the ball. And obviously we have the repeated offensive successes of Nick Foles in 2017 and in 2018. 
 

I truly think Hurts will have this offense looking like 2017s when he’s given the reigns. 

Doug just said no change at QB. He said he's not one for benching in general when he was asked about the offsides, too. No accountability.

I could. Reid survived a couple 5-11 seasons. Aside from Kotite, who Lurie didn't hire, Lurie has never fired a coach until he had 2 straight years of missing the postseason. Don't put it past Lurie to use injuries and Covid as a reason not to make changes.

I can stay pretty positive most of the time, but Doug's offense is stale and being overly loyal to has beens like Jeffery and Peters is not good.

Then that's a major issue for this organisation because that's ignoring the decline that's been happening for over 2 years. 

The only way Doug gets fired is if he doesn't go to Lurie's christmas party.

Wentz is the main issue on the field. But, Doug and/or Howie are the ones who are allowing it to continue to happen by not considering benching him.
