December 1, 20205 yr This can't be true. If Lurie really wanted Hurts to play, then Doug needs to pack his bags now because he didn't do what the owner supposedly wanted. I think that was media created. I think Lurie hates the offense, but I don't think he is calling for a QB change. I would imagine that he wants the overall coaching/scheme to be better. I know Lurie doesn't want to fire people until seasons are over, but he might want to can Press Taylor now and then have someone else serve as an OC. Let Doug work all week with Wentz. Give Doug a direct chance to fix Wentz. If he can't do it, then he's out.
