Not sure why we're going back to 2020, as the most logical reference would be the previous season. So, AJB regressed last year, and now this year, he's having a renaissance of sorts. I'm sure that has zero to do with Hurts, though.

Why didn't you quote this post ??  What I and @TorontoEagle pointed out, AJ Browns best season with Tannehill is identical ( 29 yards ) to this season with Hurts.

100% false.  Here are AJ Browns numbers with Tannehill and Hurts extrapolated out to 17 games.  2020 and 2022 are identical ( well, he is on pace for 29 more yards )

And if you did a little looking, you would realize the Titans had no 2nd receiving threat in 2021.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

He has the same stats this year that he did his best year with Tannehill

Wat? He has more yards, a higher YPC, and twice as many TDs through 13 games.

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit I see

You realize he only played 14 games in 2020, right? On a per game basis, this year is almost identical to his 2020 season. Now, he’s been better this year than he was last year, but that doesn’t mean he’s having the best season of his career

When I first read that post, I read it quickly and saw it say "last year" not "best year."

OK @EaglesRocker97, I am sold.  QB's make WR's, so I will be actively advocating this off season to trade for Kirk Cousins.

Yes, I understand now. I didn't read Toronto's post right initially. I see your point, but I'm sure Hurts has played a big part in revitalizing AJBs game. Look, I remember your being emphatic that the team bringing in Brown had nothing to do with the personal relationship between him and Hurts and that it would have no bearing on their success together. From the beginning, you've had this striking resistance to giving Hurts and his chemistry with Brown any credit to the team and individual's performance. I'm fine with parsing the numbers, but see the forest through the trees: Hurts has been a boon to AJB, a player who seemed to have regressed last season. That much should be clear as day. You can see it just in how the WR talks about his QB and how much fun AJB is visibly having out there playing with Hurts. The two are greater than the sum of their parts.

Micah Parsons talking mess.....meanwhile Jalen is focused on the Bears.  Jalen don't need to talk.  His play and success does the talking.   That's exactly why they are 12-1 and the other team is not.   Sunday the 18th is before Christmas Eve, I'm glad the players of focused on the Bears and not looking ahead.   I hope Doug Pederson and the Jags bring it to The Boys just like the Texans did.

Did you know that Tua is better than Mahomes?

Yep, looks pretty clear to me.

Sure was nice of the Eagles to trade a 1st to Tennessee to get AJB out of there and give him a chance to finally flourish with Hurts.

I guess he would have been much happier hitting free agency with five TDs and 870 yards receiving.

AJ regressed last season as the Titans as a team regressed, there was no second WR, Derrick Henry missed 9 games and their offensive line was banged up and Tannehill was sacked 47 times compared to 24 in 2020.

2022 MVP voting based on WR numbers ( QB's make WR's )

1.  Kirk Cousins

2. Tua

3. Derek Carr

4. Josh Allen

5. Travis Kelce

This is way better than Cvon lmao.

So is swimming in a port-a-potty after a 3 day concert festival, not sure what your point is.

For those who wonder why downundermike is fixated on AJ Brown, it's because a month ago, while he was suspended, I made a comment that AJ Brown, Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders were all on track for career years, and that Hurts deserves some of the credit for that.

Downundermike thought that AJ Brown had a better year in 2020, which he didn't. He had slightly fewer yards per game and slightly fewer TDs per game. But when he got unsuspended, the first thing Downundermike did was post about it, saying I was wrong. At which time I pointed out that he was wrong, which he admitted, but then lost his mind trying to prove how he was actually right.

So for anyone that is confused about why this thread has gone off the tracks, here we are.

It's better in a "look at that idiot swimming in the port-a-potty" kind of way.

Sanders is having a career year because he's been able to stay healthy and has learned to protect the ball

No, because of the new rules, the safety tried to catch the ball instead of putting Devonta in the hospital.

If that was Brian Dawkins, the receiver may have been killed.

Love did a horrible job on that play. If he would've played Smith instead of the ball we would be talking about how Hurts was the reason Smith got hurt. Good thing the DB's are more concerned with INTs in this era

Lmfao! It's some funny crap in here going back and forth especially the few who's trying to discredit Hurts. I wonder if they're salty Wentz lovers trying to say Hurts ain't worth a damn.

No one is trying to discredit Hurts.  We are pointing out folks who are discrediting AJ, Devonta, Dalles, Miles.  These guys are good because they are good, not because of Hurts.

Seriously. Our 2nd year starter QB is a MVP candidate. How is there a back-and-forth on the subject? Freakin weirdos...

Lloyd, we are not saying he is not an MVP candidate, and not saying he is not playing well and exceeded my expectations.

This discussion is about him making AJ or anyone else better than they are, which is utter nonsnense.

AJ Brown is a stud, has always been a stud, and is so because of AJ Brown.

Please explain how saying AJ Brown was good in Tennessee is discrediting Hurts.

There is a group of people that have an agenda against Hurts.  It's been obvious for along time and now that he is having this MVP year as the best player in the league it's become all the more clear.
