I believe in full transparency on the boards. The mods are free to release how many reports I’ve made.

Would certainly be interesting to see who's clicking that button, mainly so we can make fun of those people incessantly

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

This is the Hurts thread?

Yeah I edited. The weird rabbit hole of nonsense this thread fell down the past few pages threw me off.

It is the Hurts thread though. Its good you wrote that so everyone else knows.

How about that defense guys? Six more sacks! That's a lot!

Edit: The weird back and forth fooled me into thinking this was the Blog. My bad. Back on topic.

How about Hurts in that second half? First half was ugly but it was nice to see the bounce back!

That first pick looked like a Wentz type of mistake, playing hero balk. The second looked like Quez ran a crap route, but it may have been picked off anyway.

Are you concerned with the volume of runs?

Then they would report that, which would lead to making more fun of them, to more reporting, going on and on for eternity.

One large butt hurt circle.

Sometimes, but probably not as much as a lot of people are. Yesterday we almost needed him to run. Wish we used the RBs more in the first half, but obviously their game plan was to throw deep and run a lot of QB draws and such, and they stuck to it. I don't second guess a ton after a win, I'm here for the ride.

35 Total TD's (22 Pass/13 Rush) - Career Highs (on Pace for Eagles and NFL Record)

5 INT's TD/INT Ratio - Career High

Comp Pct - Career High

Win Total - Career High (On Pace for Eagles Win Record)

Passing Yards - Career High (On Pace for Eagles Passing Record)

Rushing Yards - Career High (On Pace for NFL Record combined Passing/Rushing)

Passing rating - Career High

Jalen has been the most consistent QB week in and week out this entire Season.  He's the MVP.

Hurts is cool under pressure which really bodes well. You cant change the past, but you can learn from it and do better next time. I kinda have a mixed feelings about Hurts' demeanor. He is so cool collective and poised that at times he feels unapproachable... as if he is keeping you from seeing the authentic version of himself. But I think part of that is just who he is and who he needs to be. If I am a teammate I need a leader who doesnt unconsciously ride the emotional roller coaster of the the game.

Every team needs balance in the types player; the calm Jedi-like field generals; the heart and soul tone setters; the emotionally turbulent spark plugs; the charismatic renegades; and of course the wild card.

Dude bounced back because he kept his cool: https://www.delawareonline.com/story/sports/nfl/eagles/2022/12/19/jalen-hurts-sent-message-to-eagles-aj-brown-devonta-smith-after-bad-start-vs-nfl-chicago-bears/69725528007/

"I want those guys to look me in the eyes and know there’s not a doubt," Hurts said about why he didn't show his anger. "And to know that with the preparation we put in together that we’ll find a way. I want them to have that trust in me."

"He doesn’t say a lot," right tackle Lane Johnson said. "He goes to the bench. A lot of it is communication. So when something bad happens, he goes and talks to (quarterbacks coach) Brian (Johnson) and (offensive coordinator) Shane (Steichen).

"It’s all about how you respond," Smith said. "Even after those two (interceptions), he still responded the right way. He came out, didn’t let it get in his head. He kept doing what he had to do, and led us to a victory."

Well that’s a bit Pollyanna.

Bears have/had one of the worst run defenses in the entire league. Why not feed Sanders and the backs and let them romp? We need Hurts healthy for the playoffs, and reports are he’s got a sore throwing shoulder today.

It just seems that was the plan. I agree, I also expected more from our O, I had us scoring 37 lol. It was a bad game for the offense despite the win and Hurts health going forward is a concern.

And I do tend to be very optimistic regarding sports most of the time, especially when things are going well.

And he was averaging less than 3 yards per carry for most of the game (I went to a family dinner and watched most of the 2nd half on my phone so I couldnt track stats as closely).

In the 1st half, and in to the 3rd quarter, save for the 22 yard TD run that he audibled to, he was averaging, I think 2.3 yards per carry on the rest of his runs.

It really wasnt working. And he was taking big hits.

Then you see him get shook up. And they continue to run him. And I just kept thinking- I guess they dont care if he is available for the HUGE Dallas game next week?

Luckily, we won, and Dallas lost and now it hardly matters. But how stupid to keep pounding your QB against a wall against a weak team and have him banged up for what could have been a HUGE game against Dallas?

It makes you wonder, as he saw Fields running wild on our D, how much he wanted to show him up? How much he wanted to show up Parsons? I wonder how much was called by the coaches vs Hurts deciding to keep the ball himself.

2 things.

1. People are allowed to have an opinion that you don't like a QB because he's black. We get reports for "race baiting" but simply mentioning race isn't something against rules, and the whole "running QB" comments can carry racist stereotypes with them, that's been an issue for decades.

However, excessive trolling is. This can be very subjective, we'll monitor reports and look for trolling or personal attacks. If you're repeatedly calling someone racist without merit that can fall under a warning category.

2. We're a 12-1 team with a QB in the conversation for MVP. If all you want to do is troll and insult fans enjoying this season, seriously?  Go to RnR and rant about him there. I'd suggest to stick to football performance, stats, etc here.

So, what type of "merit" do you think exists on this MB to justify calling others racist? It's the same posters over and over again pointing the finger at anyone who criticizes Hurts in any way for any thing, and deeming it racism. I'm not a "report post" guy at all, but there are a select few trolls on here who get away with things over and over. Guys who were banned on the previous board for good reason and then were allowed to start over again here.

You were 100%,  absolutely, I’m a dumb f, wrong about Hurts. Just own it.

Same group of miserable posters always ****ing and moaning because they can't control their created narrative that Jalen Hurts is terrible.  It's always been clear for most of them that their issues with Hurts have nothing to do with him as a player.

They want people banned for supporting the young franchise QB who might end up winning MVP this year.  They want people banned for "trolling" (disagreeing with their lousy opinions that they consider indisputable facts) yet are the same group of losers that openly try do planned trolling on this board.

FALSE

It's always been clear for most of them that their issues with Hurts have nothing to do with him as a player.

FALSE.  The issues have to do with running, and the pounding he took yesterday is exhibit A.  Lamar Jackson already breaking down, and Kyler Murray got hurt running with no one within 20 yards of him.

They want people banned for supporting the young franchise QB who might end up winning MVP this year.

FALSE. There is not one post calling for anyone to be banned, people are tired of being called racist.  All I did was present facts that before yesterday, that AJ Brown statistically over a full season was identical to 2020 with Tannehill, meaning AJ Brown is a great WR, regardless of the QB.  He is now on a pace over 17 games to have better numbers.

They want people banned for "trolling" (disagreeing with their lousy opinions that they consider indisputable facts) yet are the same group of losers that openly try do planned trolling on this board.

Ironic coming from the guy who got banned from the previous board for continuing to talk ish about the legend that won the Eagles their first Super Bowl.

Your ears must have been burning, as I was speaking about you. YOU are the troll. YOU are the one who constantly dismisses what people say and imply that they don't like Hurts because he's black. YOU are the one who was banned on the official MB, and should have NEVER been allowed to join this new version. This board would be MONUMENTALLY better without you on it. @Moderator6 @VaBeach_Eagle Is there "merit" here?

You're such a little baby.  You and your group of obsessed online bullies are flat out pathetic.  Saying people have an agenda with Hurts that makes them not like him for reasons other than him being a player doesn't necessarily mean race.  Could it be? Sure that exists in this society.  But is that what your peoples issue with Hurts is? I have no idea. You guys are just massive a-holes and **** people overall so who knows exactly what your personal issues with Hurts are.  What's clear though is it has nothing to do with him as a player since he continues to improve to the point that he has this team at 13-1 and is in the hunt for MVP meanwhile the same cast of characters continue to try their best to hate on him at every chance they have.

Your crying about trolling is such a hilarious joke when it's your group of cancerous posters that openly gloated about some apparent troll you all thought you were doing about Carson Strong and then again recently a poster here posted quotes form some thread in the RNR section of you all talking about how you should all come into this forum and troll people.  Just openly gloating about all of this.

So no, you and your group of people are the trolls.  Look in the mirror. You're completely toxic and clearly just very **** people.

This is the problem.

No more sweeping it under the rug.
