I'm waiting for my boarding group (and not crowding like the other aholes) and being the nice guy that I am I let two women merge ahead of me in line once we are called. I'm a few people away from scanning my boarding pass and they announce "We are now just about full so if you have an overhead bag please come up to the front for your luggage tag and we will check the bag for you" followed by her telling us (without the PA) "You, you and you can still bring yours on and sir (me), you and everyone behind you will need to check" Annoying. Anyway, whatever, she gives me a luggage tag and they take my bag from me. I get on the plane and what do I see? Not only was there still enough spots for almost a dozen more bags, I see this: Purses. Backpacks. Bags turned sideways. #murder #seatingarea6problems #atleastImnotflyingSouthwest
July 19, 20242 yr people not turning their bags vertically when they can also infuriate me (I don't think the plane in Paco's pic has those overheads though).

If I am forced to check a bag, it costs me an additional 30-45 minutes before I'm home. If I am able to carry on, the second I have my bag in hand I order my Uber. By the time I get outside the Uber is usually a minute or two away. If I have to check my bag I have to walk to baggage claim (10 minutes), wait for the bags to start dropping (10-15 minutes) and then it can be up to 10 minutes more before my bag comes out. THEN I can order my Uber which takes an additional 10-15 minutes to arrive.
