Sports cars/SUVs have a stiffer suspension by design. They could make it just as soft as that lead vehicle if they wanted but it makes for a less "fun and sporty" vehicle to drive since it'll roll on any turns and won't be as responsive.

The logo redesign is fine. It feels a bit more contemporary without losing the connection to the previous era.
