Nothing shows security like worrying about what others think. If your wife's salary was triple yours doing a job she enjoyed, you would probably still want her to stay home because of some joke a person on the EMB might make about you. You may be the most insecure person I've ever seen post something on the internet.

The overly misogynist person that is you has a real difficult time a woman could have great financial success doing a job that she really enjoys. If you found yourself In a similar spot it would absolutely crush your fragile ego, so it's easier for you to just blow it off as a made up story.

He's turned up the deflection to 11. Have you considered asking your wife if calling women a C on the internet (while she is at work) is appropriate? You know, because you are totally not a typical JT pig so your actions are accpetible.* *I realize this is rhetorical and the answer is no, you won't consider it out of fear of losing your online privileges.

Do I ask my wife to weigh in on what I talk about on the EMB and if she thinks it appropriate? No why would I lol? She doesn't have the least bit of interest in football or much of what we talk about here. She is largely ignorant regarding politics, she just doesnt care outside some local issues. Does she know I can be loud, inappropriate and unapologetic? We have been married for 20 years, so yeah. She sees my Facebook posts as well which are not much different than the ish here. The C word means nothing to her. It's just another "bad" four letter word.
April 16, 20223 yr Any other good comics similar to Gary Larson? I've seen some knockoffs but they kinda miss the mark most of the time.

Look how far we've come! Such a weird photo of Cate Blanchett. I don't generally find her that attractive, but in Ragnarok she has moments.

Guess I have should have typed it all out to begin with. Understand now? Do you find yourself saying regularly:

Working to pay people to do things I could easily do if not working. Leaving a job of 25 years is not a quick decision lmao.
April 16, 20223 yr Sounds like unskilled labor if 25 years netted diminishing returns and it can be done if you care enough and have the work ethic.

Lead operator at a chemical plant. Not a terrible job, but not extremely lucrative either. Last year, after we decided to move to an area that added an hour commute each day it stopped making sense. I mean it was still a net positive income, but just not worth the time considering the other things we gain from us both being home (excluding her travel needs).
