If the goal is a title, then howie needs to go. So whatever it takes for that to happen is desirable. And wentz winning makes howie look inept. Likewise if wentz fails it makes howie look better.

Its really unrelated to the Eagles winning but my family has had season tix since 1970. How about you?

How many Other GMs brought a SB to Philly? Name the one who did. This should be easy for you.

Cool how long you had Colts season tickets?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The real issue is Wentz winning exposes jwill as a moron

When does your Blue and White Wentz jersey come in the mail?

I’d do it out of respect.

Id tell Kelce he has 3 options.  Retire and we’ll throw him a huge celebration.  Play out his contract with us if he likes...but it’s going to be a lot of sloppy losing.  Work with us to arrange a trade to a winning team he approves.  He can make the choice.

Happens on 4 win teams. Figure everybody's job is at risk as of today besides Slay & the draft picks.

A good organization is careful on how you handle vets. Showing no respect late in there career shows other guys on the team that come extension time there's no guarentees, not to mention free agents interest to come here in the future.

Kelce for example does everything right, says everything right, works his butt off and even plays injured. He has some quality years left. If he doesn't want to be here thats one thing. But you take care of him otherwise.

People actually want Howie to fail just so they could be right about Wentz. How can they be Eagles fans?

I am not a fan Howie but by god I don’t want the Eagles to lose just for him to get fired. I want to win. Whoever the GM is.

yeah , seems like everyone is a arm chair GM or COACH , i'm pulling for hurts and the team to compete every sunday win or lose. IMO  the colts just got their next jeff george , big arm that's not accurate with an injury history , turnover issues. this team still has decent lines on both sides of the ball and IMO  the new coaches can fix secondary issues and have a balanced offense to move the sticks and score.

I don’t hate Wentz or anything so if he succeeds in Indy, good for him. At the very least, I hope he plays 75 percent of the snaps in 2021.

It was over for him here for a variety of reasons, so I won’t be looking at him like an ex-girlfriend who dumped me. We don’t win the SB without him, so I’m thankful for his contribution here.

It's a tricky one isn't it. We want him to be decent but not good, to play all games but for the Colts ultimately to suck. That's the win for us.

PFF gave it a B, but I reckon it gets a A+ from @justrelax

Name all the Eagle GMs who delivered a SB win.

In your opinion, is Howie bad at any aspects of being a GM?

Why would you want the Colts to suck? They aren't in our division or even conference

Merrill is going to be painful to listen to moving forward.  Love him but his age is catching up.  WIth Jalen Hurts and Jalen Reagor set to be big parts of the offense he's going to be so confused.  Already last year there were lots of plays where he would say "Reagor lines up for the snap." Hopefully he gets that straightened out!

Still prefer Merrill over the TV broadcast provided the audio is synced up.  I wonder who the heir apparent is.  I'm thinking they poach from the Phillies broadcast team.

I love listening to Marc Zumov when the Sixers are on TV and Jim Jackson is great with the Flyers.  The Phillies broadcast team is OK, nothing like it used to be but they've been together long enough where the familiarity makes it nice to hear in the spring and summer.

I can see them looking at a guy like Scott Graham.

I (randomly) heard some time ago that Dave Spadaro was lined up to replace Merrill Reese, as and when he steps back from commentary.

As for Hurts, after seeing so many people say how bad his arm was in the draft prep last yaer, I was surprised to see it wasn't as I had perceived, the first time I saw him play.  All about context.

Lower draft pick.

Meh

The most ideal scenario for us is Wentz plays really well, and stays healthy, but the colts end up having one of the worst records in the league next year. After that, I don’t care about the colts anymore

Edit - basically the season Houston just had would be great

If any team offers Howie a 2022 1st round pick to move back from #6 he needs to jump on it.  That would put the team in a position to have 3 first round picks in the 2022 draft.

I think the best way for the Eagles to help Jalen Hurts become a successful NFL quarterback is to emphasize the running game.

The roster is mostly in tatters, but we will have a strong offensive line and Miles Sanders is a stud.  If we can pound the football and protect Hurts, we can allow him the opportunity to develop without having to run for his life on each play.  I believe that this is the key to next season.  Run the ball successfully and everything else can fall into place, including the passing game.

I just hope Sirianni has the wisdom to see this.

I trust Siri more to do this after seeing how successful Taylor and Hines were. Doug was just dumb to the run. I'm not totally confident Sanders is someone to pound the rock with however. I love Javonte Williams but I don't think using our second on a RB is the best idea considering the shambles the defense and WR position is in. Also if Kelce retires, interior o-line is immediate need. I also feel like they need a high pick for OG.

If the Colts suck that bad they will pull Wentz even if he is playing well so we dont get a top pick in the first round. Im sure Wentz would go along just to screw the Eagles.

Without stirring a hornet’s nest, I’m not so sure he’d handle getting benched for the final 4 or 5 games real well.

Can they tell if there are any star QBs in the 2022 draft or is it too early?

Move over, Howie.

Depends on the situation. They aren’t going to bench him the last 4 games after all the ish that just went down here. If it’s a game and they are out of the race that’s a different story, but they should be somewhere in contention for that division at the beginning of December.

It’s early but as is I’d say it’s like this year but without a Lawrence.
