If you want to be treated with respect then you need to earn it. Nothing about you is deserving of respect.

The only thing you deserve is that you should be banned for life from this board after the Fing incidents you had on the old board. If it were up to me and some of the other posters you won’t even be here right now because deserved to be banned for life for the crap you pulled on there.

Do you want respect? Maybe you don’t cheer against your own team and hope they lose with Nick Foles.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The crap I pulled? I wouldn't recognize Nick Foles as my lord and savior and I thought the Eagles were better off with Wentz?

How sacreligious of me.

I'm on board to trade down as much as we can in the first and get a guy like Kwity Paye late. I know a lot of you are set that we need a top 10 pick, but this team is far from being good. Get as much young, cheap talent in here as possible.

IF Sewell is at 6, I would be good with taking him. Kid is a bonafide stud at a major position.

They had one of the worst HC's in history. Starting QB missed 4 games. They have  5 picks in the top 90. Not to mention an outside chance at Deshaun Watson and, o ya, have like 70 Million in free cap.

Let's make a wager. Jets are in the Playoff hunt heading into week 13.

And P.s. I take the Jets situation 1000 times out of 1000 over the Eagles. BEeeeleeeeeedat

Neither Eagles or Jets are making the playoffs this upcoming season.  Jets could or could not be on the right track long term but that roster is not good enough for them to push for the playoffs this year.  Rookies need time to develop. Maybe that door is open if they get Watson but still very unlikely because you need more than just a QB.

Yeah that was clearly the only thing you did....

Agreed.  If Sewell slips to 6, you run to the podium.

I'm just wondering why people think Sewell is this sure thing can't miss Tony Boselli prospect.  I'm not being a smartass, I just don't see the hype where we can't pass on him.  I get more excited watching Mailata throw around Calais Campbell than I do a guy dominating the Pac-12....we have one of those guys on our team already and look how he's turning out.

I'm rolling with our guys and having faith in Stoutland to coach them to their full potential.  I'm not passing up on an offensive weapon be it Chase, Pitts, Waddle or a trade down,

thoughts on Kendrick Green out of Illinois?

has some center versatility, seems athletic

Sorry. Since they haven't played UM in a couple of years I have no insight for you.

So lets make the wager. 100 bucks says theyre in the hunt.

You act like the Jets are going 3-14. Not the case. Not even close

I'm not betting anything with random people online.

Jets are more likely to go 3-14 then they are 14-3 that's for sure.  They are likely anywhere from a 3 win team to a 6 win team next year.

Cause he’s the most sure thing in this draft. Even more so than Lawrence.

Not saying Sewell can’t be a bust, anyone could be he has the smallest chance of such.

What did I do?

How about you just tell me because you’re just gonna make up whatever narrative you want to because that’s you. I could ask multiple people on this board who were there and agree with what i would say. Yet you’d deny it then revert to some snarky comment.

So you got nothing.  Alright.

I dont know.......Saleh is unproven and could be bad just like Gase.  Darnold might be what he is which is around average.

If they get Watson and add a playmaker or 2 then they have a shot at the playoffs.

I don’t think howie is willing to say that at this moment in time because he doesn’t know how good Jalen hurts truly is. And with how the optics work with the organization at the current moment I don’t think anyone inside that organization can really boast about anything. However if Jalen hurts winds up being a player they envisioned then you know he’s going to boast about that at some point and so is lurie.

Yea but this is a guy who boasted about JJAW after one preseason game

Hell I want 21. I didn't mean draft a guy whose 24/25, just used that number for reference since that was the qualifier for whoever wrote that story about each team and what blue chip players they have under 25 (which Eagles had none).

Kyle Pitts will still be 20 when next season starts ......

Chase just turned 21 yesterday too. Both those ages are a big + from me.

You’re talking about two different points in time. after that period of time he won a Super Bowl and they got to the divisional round the next year. So you can have a little bit of boasting and act that way. The fact that they were 4-11-1 and they had to trade a quarterback they just paid $100 million to it’s probably not the time to boast. Especially when hurts had his own struggles

I absolutely hate the idea of waking up Friday April 30th with 3 starters at Left Tackle.

Come on its obvious.  The QB factory failed so now we are known as the Left Tackle factory.

So you got nothing.  Alright.

Says the guy that got suspended and then banned clearly for just defending Carson Wentz. Meanwhile there was a ton of us doing that. And didn’t get ourselves suspended then banned. Whatever you want to believe....

I know, I'm just making the case for Howie is stupid.

If the Eagles make a pick at #6 then Chase, Pitts, Lawrence, Wilson, and Sewell would be the only players they should have on their board.  Even Wilson or Sewell I’d be inclined to take calls on and trade out.  Hopefully they end up trading back to the 11/12 range and one of these guys would still be there.

If not, then there are more players I’d be happy with at #11 — Waddle, Farley, Surtain Jr, Parsons, Smith — perhaps even Slater if he’s moved to G and could start there in the event Kelce retires

I just don't know what makes him a sure thing.  He played 7 games as a freshman, got hurt and then obviously played and dominated his sophomore year.  I'd be hesitant to call any player that sat out last year a sure thing.  We have no idea how the year off impacted their growth.  I feel the same way about Chase, we have no idea.

He graded out high in pass protection but so did Andre Dillard, and he did it 3 consecutive years.

We’ve started on the tight end factory too. It’s more of a small side business at the moment

How about at guard? That's where I think we would play him, particularly if Kelce retires. Isaac goes to center, Brooks and Sewell would be an awesome tandem. I've see Sewell compared to Ogden or Pace but that's absurd. He's nothing like them. He's - what? - six  inches shorter than Ogden, five shorter than Pace, IIRC. The comparison - physically - to Ogden is Mailata. Sewell compares, IMHO, much more closely to Quentin Nelson or Zack  Martin. I also think he is position flexible.
