I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Dillard is such an obvious trade candidate, but I can't see Howie doing it. Mailata extension has to happen before any trade anyways.

you dont have to rush that decision. let this season play out. LT is too important, they are young and neither is expensive in relative terms

Dont like DJ hyping up Pitts to the Eagles

the middle of the field is where Hurts struggles and you already have Goedert.  The only way Pitts is smart is if you can believe he can be a true WR. but if you want a true WR just take one, not another project.

I don't think he sees Pitts as a project at any receiver position.  I don't think you take Pitts with the idea that he cannot play right away in a role with Ertz.  I am not sure about tailoring the draft picks to fit Hurts. If Hurts truly can't make throws to the middle of the field, then they should be taking a QB at 6.

2020 stats

Greg Ward, 53 catches for 419 yards and 6 TD's

Tim Patrick, 51, 742, 6

Byrd, 47, 604, 1

Guyton, 28, 511, 3

Amendola, 46, 602, 0

Sims, 27, 265, 1

Ok. What were their targets? Yards per catch? Yards per target? Average depth of target?

For the hating the kicking the can down the road crowd. We restructured Hargrave and it only cost us 2M in 22 and 4M in 23

See the updates in my post below.  This was the changes on the OTC website after they put that deal in. Looks like 7 million in 23 to me.

Remember that time in 2013 against the Cowboys when Nick Foles threw a pass to Avant in the endzone and it bounced off his hands/chest up in the sky for an interception?

Foles threw 2 INTs in 2013. One was in the snow bowl against Detroit, and one was in Minnesota. Foles didn't throw an INT in either Dallas game that year.

Yep. Get Ward on a dime back and he has an edge, match up against most starting CBs and he's in trouble.

Yeah, no

It is. They added another void year. Besides if they open up $9M in 2021 without him taking a paycut its going to have to be $9M total down the road.

Gotta hate when those pesky facts totally derail your argument @RememberTheKoy

Part of the reason I started doing this daily update spreadsheet, that way the Howie loyalists can not try and twist what is happening.  It is all in black and white.

I think Ward needs someone to forget to cover him to have an edge.  That’s what generated most of his big plays.

or fall asleep waiting for his "move"

Cripes, can we retire BS like "you can’t have 5 Julio Jones on your roster?” No one is suggesting we have five Julios and there’s a huge difference between upgrading from Ward and having a Hall of Famer at the position.

Not well. He’s a terrible PR.

He's a guy you can stick back on PR and not worry about fumbling.  He is a verisitile player that you can use in multiple ways and not have to worry about him being a liability.

So Avant dropped a pass, but it didn’t lead to an INT as you originally stated.

Got it.

No it was not.  No need to get your panties in a bunch over Nick Foles.  This is about Avant and his amazing hands., not Foles.

Ball hit the ground and was ruled incomplete and overturned.

Which is what I said in the post you previously quoted.

Fact is it hit Avant right in the hands and he let that bounce up for a defender.  Saved by  part of the ball hitting the ground.  Eagles offense was putrid that day, Eagles defense comes up with a turnover and they desperately needed the offense to make a play.

Avant should have caught that but he didn't. Greg Ward makes that catch.
