Much happier with a Graham extension than a Graham restructure.

Graham is 100% the type of guy you want in a locker room with young players.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

@RLC got me by 1 second.

This situation is different because the trade up would be for a QB, if the Niners are all in. The Eagles have the leverage, and if I were the Eagles, I wouldn't consider any trade offers until draft day.

Agreed. When teams identified a QB they want and need to move up to get him, they can't get cute and try to balk at the asking price.

patience. it also buys time to determine if he has hit his ceiling - he's still young

The one good thing about him is the fact that he's young.  I think he's hit his ceiling however.  He's a 6 sack per year, meh starting DE.  You can replace his production with a vet on a 1-year deal.

Frenzy!!

Yep.  But there are posters in here who have a fascination with players who were former Eagles coming back here.  It's bizarre.

Agholor on a short term deal arguably helps develop Hurts more than one of the currently rostered WRs.  I do think he is likely to get signed by a team like the Patriots.  Agholor as a slot WR would be an upgrade.

Golden talked to agents for 4 minutes then said no thanks.

Some of you guys would be really happy, because if the Eagles brought back Mills and Agholor I would take the f'n year off

Would be ecstatic with that.  And get Waddle, Farley or Surtain at 12.

Yup. I run to make that trade.

Also where the niners are picking they likely could be out of the top 5 and definitely top 4 QBs in the draft. You only have a couple spots where teams in the top 10 would trade back. Jets depending on if they want Wilson and I’m doubting they want to move all the way back to 12. Miami who could but they have pick 18 not sure they want to move from 3 to 12. Atlanta could depending on how they feel but I’m guessing by rather sit at four. Cincinnati i could see moving back to 12 if they are overpaid for the pick. After the eagles lions could as they are rebuilding and need picks even with the Stafford trade. Carolina is likely to move up then down. And Denver you might not have any of the QBs left.

imo if the niners want trey Lance then they likely have to move up to 5-7 picks to get him or if they really want to secure fields or Lance  3

No thanks.  Would rather see what we have in the young guys and he would not be the "Vet" I would want in the WR room with those young guys.  The little FA movement we make this year, I certainly hope one of the moves is not wasted on Nelson F-ing Agholor.

Hard Pass.

How can any "fan" of this team want Agholor back. Dude was a complete head case and frankly, isn't that good of a WR to deal with it. His first drop and the fans would be all over him, and that'd be all she wrote. May as well bring HOF RB McCoy back too, if it was up to these knuckleheads.

Interesting trade in the athletic mock draft published today. Traded with the niners and got waddle at 12. Here’s what they got. Frankly pretty underwhelming value. I feel like the draft value chart would indicate not enough to move back to 12 for a future 2nd and a comp 3rd

6. ***TRADE***

San Francisco 49ers receive:
No. 6 overall

Philadelphia Eagles receive:
No. 12 overall
No. 103 overall
2022 second-round pick

Not a great trade for the Eagles unless that 2022 could become a 1st round pick.  If Watson gets moved before the draft, I think that may impact the market.  The best scenario for the Eagles is that he doesn't get traded and NE, the 49ers, Carolina and Denver are in the market.

Until he drops a pass, fans boo him, he gets into his head and becomes a disaster again.

Not talked about on here but could totally see the bengals taking pitts if sewell is off the board. They could use a tight end that’s also versatile enough to play some wide receiver for them. Boyd, Higgins and pitts some good targets to throw too.

Good for Okwara.

I know sacks aren't everything for a DE, but, Okwara with 10 sacks is getting $10 million per year.  Eagles apparently are content with Barnett getting $10 million at half the production.

i just cant fathom the Bengals not investing in the OL for Burrow there. Slater would be high quality

The fact that we don't have a Barnett extension at this point with it needed to clear some cap space makes me think they are trying to trade him and of they can't by Thursday then he is getting released.

Think they will try and extend him to lower cap and get that under $10 million/year no?

I couldn’t either but then i remember they are the bengals so there’s that. You aren’t dealing with a team that uses great logic. I also don’t think Sewell gets to them tbh and i think they rather trade back then take slater at 5.

just read the Falcons only have 4 OL under contract for next year that have taken nfl snaps so i think Sewell is likely very much in play for atlanta.

The chances of Barnett being released are the same as my chances at nailing Pam Anderson in her prime. Ain't gonna happen, sir.

Ray Didinger said Hurts reminds him of Tyrod Taylor.  Great comparison.  Ray D knows what he's talking about.  Had him as a 3rd rounder.

With how the medical staff for the eagles has been lately he might also encounter tyrod’s fate last year

There's no reason to release Barnett. We're under the cap without extending him. It's either trade him or let him walk in 2022 for a comp pick.
