Tony Buzbee says he is now representing 12 women against Deshaun Watson and will file the remaining five cases. Beyond those 12, he said his firm has spoken to 10 additional women about Watson.

Yikes

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Ok.  First off.  Who said Cardio wasn't important?  Secondly.  In that story, he was 34 years old with the Redskins.  6 years after the SB he puked in.

LOL  Come on!  That's the best someone can come up with to support your "McNabb was lazy and didn't do cardio" claim?

Dude you are acting like you are 100 years old.  How do you not remember all those games when he played with us (so he must have been 32 or younger) where he was completely gassed.  It happened A LOT!

I think he plays better in zone , allows him to be a playmaker

That would be my expectation though can't say I've followed his career. I'm on board with him as a #2 opposite slay.

Max abmas out here for 15 seed oral Roberts playing like Steph curry.

If true , he makes Cosby look like a Boy Scout .

You mean the one where someone dug up a story about a 34 year old McNabb when he was with the Redskins being called out by Mike Shanahan?  Yeah, that really nails down the point.  MS was so good with his QB's.  He never had an issue with any QB's in Washington.

I can't help that you have dementia.  Not sure what else to say.

Yeah.  But just because he was gassed, doesn't mean the guy didn't do cardio or had a crap work ethic like you are claiming he had.  His formative years in Philly he was a good to great player and was decent enough shape.  He got older and go chubby and his body reacted different.  Not everyone is Tom Brady.  I think it's a pretty petty thing to grasp on to.

I can't remember any QB ever being tired like him.  He was out of shape man.  Just admit it.  He was overweight, huffing and puffing and had issues at the end of games when the offense had a lot of time of possession.

I actually really liked Adoree Jackson coming out. Thought his upside was tremendous. It still is but as you all know elite athleticism doesn’t always convert to being a good football player.

Just now, 4for4EaglesNest said:

So now you hate McNabb because he was chubby and out of shape his last few years in Philly.  Because he was not that way for most of his time.

Better put, he was only in shape his first 4-5 years.

Just now, 4for4EaglesNest said:

Yep.  You convinced me.  The hate is rationalized.

I have your blessing then.  Everything is going to be ok, thankfully!

I think the average Philly fan likes to look for things to be miserable about.

Not AFan.  Not me.  One can find excitement even in a rebuild.  Watching long time Eagles like Kelce, Johnson and Graham.   Enjoying the prospect of hopeful young players.  Enthused by a young coaching staff and what wrinkles they might bring to the schemes and what growth they can encourage from the players.  I enjoy wins but I really enjoy watching game plans and fundamentals too.  I really like whencoaches that can adjust and that is a huge question for Sirianni.  I thought the Colts failed at that in the playoffs.  Football is like chess when called well.

Man.  I know if I had the money he has.  And was single.  Then I would be having fun too.  But damn.  Either he was having fun and he is being targeted because he's rich.  Or he's a slim ball.

all of the above

@DawkinsOwnage03 i was wrong looking like more than a baker’s dozen. Looking like two dozen

Lawyer Tony Buzbee alleged that Deshaun Watson's misconduct happened "as recently as this month."

Well your stomach was empty.

I can understand people not liking McNabb as a guy - he wasn’t my favorite nor someone I’d want to grab a beer with.

but I don’t have any problem separating the player and his contributions from the personality.

yeah, I get that we all would have liked to see him make more progress on his deficiencies but there was a whole lot of good for a number of years directly a result of him.

you could argue pretty easily that AI had that same problem but people liked that he gave everything on the court and exuded passion so we excuse his inability (unwillingness) to make his teammates better...

I can acknowledge he was the best QB we ever had but still give my reasons for not liking him.  Apparently that is a crime though.

Might be a bit long, but whatever:

Probably in the minority, but I don't really see Wentz as being mentally weak or unwilling to compete. To be blunt, I see it as him more so giving us the middle finger between the two.

After his rookie season where fans were beyond excited for the promise he showed, things took off in 2017. They destroyed teams and he was the best QB in the league. He destroyed his knee diving to score points in a big game and followed up with throwing a franchise record TD pass on a crippled knee.

We all know what happened after. Foles took over, played some of the best football this franchise has ever seen in two games and won us a SB. The entire time this was going on, Wentz was on the sideline helping out in anyway he could (while also rehabbing) and talking/working with the coaches and Foles frequently.

Then the off-season came. A loud (albeit small at the time) portion of the fanbase wanted to move on from Wentz and stay with Foles. He had his statue slapped in front of the stadium and Wentz was hardly even mentioned as a driving force to help the team get there (and people are still unwilling to admit this).

2018 came and again ended in a rough way for Wentz, despite playing well. We all know what happened with the back and Foles took over again and caught magic once again. We started hearing whispers that Wentz was a jerk and those fans that wanted Foles became even louder and grew in number. His teammates built a shrine to him in the locker room. Fans were arguing the Wentz wasn't clutch and couldn't perform in big moments like Foles could.

Foles went on his way and Wentz got a contract. All things considered, it was the right move to get rid of Foles. 2019 the team was an injured, talentless mess that Wentz (with several game winning drives) almost single handedly dragged into the playoffs. More stories came out about how he was the devil and a piece of garbage teammate despite always talking his guys up, never shitting on the slop around him or blaming the injuries. The "he can't finish" a season narrative was more or less erased until the cheap shot happened in the playoffs.

Now, I get wanting insurance for the QB position, particularly because he's had some bad luck in that department, but he isn't stupid. Like the rest of us, he can see an aging, pretty talentless roster and can hear the constant reports about how he's a garbage human being that doesn't work and is mentally "weak" despite always being a class act and continuing to do so after being gone.

But when this offense is so devoid of talent, you choose to spend a second round pick in a QB and lie to everyone (including Carson) that it's for a Taysom Hill role. You then constantly find ways to shoehorn him into the offense to try and justify a beyond idiotic pick and divide the locker room between the two QBs. The fanbase was asking for Hurts long before he got the call and were more or less done with Wentz at the beginning of the season. He played poorly, I get that. I agree. He's supposed to be your guy that you've clearly shown otherwise and made zero indication that he would he your guy moving forward. You made zero attempt to get him on the field again even though the playoffs were never truly a reality.

The benching wasn't a moment of "well, I haven't played well so it makes sense." The benching was likely "this team, city and fanbase clearly isn't interested and this team is becoming a steaming pile, so F em."

And I don't blame him.

That’s pretty generous.  Doesn’t say much for the no I in team or leadership of this team.   I see a young man that could not fill Chris Long’s shoes.  The anti-Brandon Graham.  I really gave Wentz the benefit of the doubt.  I had some complaints about his lack of improvement in areas that can be fixed but did not doubt him as a person.  I excused him not talking with the media and thought that was his right but his vocalizing about his benching has made me look at things in a new light.   Maybe some of the criticism was warranted.  His seems to think he deserved to call plays.  He doesn’t equate his benching to how poor he was playing.  I always thought the Hurts drafting was because the Eagles think they need two starting level QBs and Wentz was a bit prone to injury, a back up capable of winning games was a must.  Now I wonder if it was a reaction to Carson not taking coaching, not throwing to the open receiver etc.  Basically, insurance against Carson failing. I hope he starts every game this season and his team regresses due to the coaching losses so the Eagles get a better draft choice.  I have no more loyalty to Wentz than I do to Mills, Ford or Johnston.  They moved on and so have I.

Can we get the assault discount, a 1 and Ertz?

Hating him and fabricating reasons like (Giving a big FU to the fans) isn't a crime either.

Fabricating = you have memory loss.  I didn't make that up.  You either lost your memory or you didn't pay attention.  I forgive you either way.

In many ways, watching a team build is more interesting than watching the finished product. Not as much fun, to be sure, but more interesting, at least to me.

I agree.   I am actually more excited about this offseason than last year.

1 minute ago, 4for4EaglesNest said:

I forgot he gave a big FU to the Philly Fans?  Why because he said something about the Eagles regretting trading him?  What does that have to do with the fans?  Yeah, you made that up.

It's not my fault that I pay more attention watching football then you.  I can't help that.  You can get better though.  There is still time.

"It's kind of bitter sweet for me as my son, the quarterback sits out on injured reserved watching the game during his rehab. I polled my family too and they feel the same. We want our team to win and even go to the Superbowl and win it in Miami especially if they continue to play as they have. But oh oh, if they win the Superbowl without my son, what would be the real outcome with the fans? Will they crucify him? Maybe, then the trade talks would begin. Off season madness, worse than last year's fiasco. But guess what, I guess I'll have to take the beating if it comes. I would have to hope that scenario of the madness would not happen or be that bad. Well let's wait and see. Bitter sweet."

Wilma Mcnabb during Jeff Garcia's playoff run.

Discuss.  And for anyone keeping track, Kolb had not yet been drafted.  :fishing:
