I wouldn’t be surprised if he signed a one-year contract knowing that the cap is going up next year. And he can cash in next year. Wouldn’t be surprised if a team like the Chiefs or a Super Bowl contender gives him a one year deal.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

A 6 win team with no QB signed a 28-year-old WR for $18 million a year. Yay?

Golladay is coming off an injury and will be 28. He's not a top WR, a good WR, but his numbers are as much usage as talent. 28 tends to be the last peak year for WRs.

Last year was the first time he had a catch rate over 60% and that for only 5 games. 58.8% and 56.0% when putting up 1000 yard seasons, so more quantity over quality.

And Stafford is better than Jones, and is known to push the ball into tight windows (sometimes when he shouldn't).

He's a good addition at the right price, but he doesn't scare me.

He’s been top 10 In the league in aDot, so it stands to reason his completion percentage would be lower.

If we signed Galloday this place would have gone bananas. He's a very good receiver and compliments Slayton so well. The division gets better by the day. We better get used to the nfc east basement because we will be there for a few years.

Only those who don't get football. He's a solid WR, but only for a "win now" team.

Lions made the right move, 4yr/$72M with $40M is a lot for a guy coming off injury and turning 28. Figure he has 1-2 solid years left, then will start declining by 30.

He's not an elite WR, he was a late 3rd rd pick and his production is due to volume throws.

He was a 24 year old rookie, so it's not like you're getting his second contract starting at 25 and going through his peak years.

That was fast.

Well he got a one year deal I thought he would take so he could go into free agency next year when the salary cap increases. Did not expect at all for it to be the Broncos. I thought he go to a contender.

And to think that actor went on to write the worst novel in the history of the written word.  Since I enjoy jawing with @justrelax, who is one of the literature gurus of the blog, I nominate him for the read & review.

If nominated I will not run. If elected I will not serve.

He probably really, really wanted to get out of Chicago and reunite with Fangio.

Who can blame him? Lol

Danny Dimes is a bust

Probably already posted but

I'm biased and I was hoping for more

Wouldn't be surprised to also see TY Hilton back with the Colts before too much longer.

No more excuses for Danny Dimes after this year. They've surrounded him with weapons.

Still don't think they win more than 8 games.

F. Hoped we somehow could get him.

Now for Jackson or Conley

"I cried because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet” — Helen Keller

If she were an Eagles fan she’d have substituted ‘Thrash and Pinkston’ for shoes, and ‘Ward and Fulgham’ for feet

Thrash and Pinkston were no shoes, Agholor and the Desean/Alshon/Matthews carousel were no feet, Ward/Fulgham are no legs.
