To be fair, that he might have been focused to some degree on his newborn child and might not have been practicing as hard as Hurts is right now.. sounds reasonable.

Like the trade back and get more picks.  The move also tells us this draft class is not impressive to the FO.  The roster has some holes.  Some old vets who may only have 1-2 seasons left and the young ones are not yet seasoned enough to take over.  Having more picks also give the cushion if the FO misses some of the picks.  The stockpile for next draft will be handy to build out the roster.  All good.

You wouldn't see any ads, if you're logged in. I have ads disabled for logged in members. So only guests (or members who aren't logged in) would ever see them. 

Really, the only thing that I would ask, is for nobody to click ads, if they see them. If a member isn't logged in and you see an ad, just ignore it and read the board as if it didn't exist. The board will still make money without the ads being clicked.

Mac Jones would be pretty crazy. Fish are set up nicely at 6. Minimum 3 QB's go, probably 4 and they will have a nice array of o-linemen and offensive weapons there at 6.

Correct, none of them appear to be worth 3 first round picks.  Especially when we have MAYBE 10 players under 25 worth a damn and that's a stretch.   We need talent and with the way Howie drafts we need as many gambles as possible.

You could be sitting at six on draft day and Carolina wants a quarterback there and is willing to give you the same package at that time if not more and the dolphins trying to move up as well. Again you’re assuming the Dolphins were the only team that was gonna be in play for the six pick at any point in time. That was true today that doesn’t mean draft day there’s not multiple teams winding up trying to get up to six and that pick has more value. What if the Dolphins are on the clock, trade that pick to move back to 8, get a future first and a 3rd this year. Again my point was the value of that pick could be higher on draft day and you sold yourself short. That doesn’t mean I hate the move that’s just telling you the reality that that could be worth more on that particular day based on how the board falls.

Yup so i can’t say if it was a great deal or if they undersold it until draft day when that happens with the board falling the way it does. Based off draft value chart a future first has the worth of a second rounder as it’s a future pick and they moved up from late round into the fourth. It’s about what the value is on the draft value chart if you assume that first is likely 10-17 area.
