This is how I imagine it shakes out:

Waddle, Slater, or Paye would be tremendous to have at 12.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I love the Waddle pick. It's awesome.

Is 12 too high for Bateman? I think he ends up the 2nd best WR in this draft.

YES!! YES!!

Awesome.  Potential for three #1 picks in 2022.  Much rather have picks next year.  Plus a fourth this year for a fifth.

No its not, and I agree.

I’m excited to dig into a whole set of new players at 12 or a little lower.

I really like the draft from 10-15 or so. So many elite athletes to choose from.

Dolphins message board is PISSED about the trade with us.

Busy day so just seeing this but seriously there are some people upset about this?  Absolutely love the move. We weren't getting a stud QB at 6, the position value is not that much different from 6 to 12, and if you wait to pull the trigger on draft day you run the risk of a team pulling out if their guy is gone. Gather ye rosebuds.

Love Pitts/Chase, but them vs Smith/Waddle/Horn/Surtain/Farley/Rosseau/Parson etc + a first is a no brainer.

The thing is, Tua might not be any good. The Dolphins could be in for a step back. A top-15 pick isn’t a stretch at all.

At 6 it's much harder to make the mistake. You know that.

People have Fed up pick #1 multiple times

I almost wonder if they felt like they were dealing with Monopoly money. They have so many picks and are in a position to get the same player at 6 that they wanted at 3 and still got an extra 1 and 3 for the effort.

Yup. The AFCE got better too. Miami could easily regress given that their entire success this year was based on turnover scores.

Miami could easily be a bottom 10 team if Tua is average or worse.

Glad we’re loading up all these picks to get weapons for Foles

12 -  Jaycee Horn, CB

37 - Trevon Moehrig, S

70 - Jamin Davis, LB

84 - D'wayne Eskridge, WR

I'd be OK with this after the 1st two days.

Waddle, Surtain, Horn, Bateman, Parsons, Slater will all likely be there at 12. Could trade back to mid teens.

They should wait til draft day to be pissed about it. If fields (other top 4 qb) falls there’s a chance Denver, Carolina and even New England or Washington get into a bidding war to move up to get him or a QB.

That changes nothing with regard to 6 and 12 overall. The odds are better at 6 than at 12 of finding a top prospect. That much is clear.

The real question Howie is thinking is does 3 first's pry Russel Wilson away from Seattle?

That would be a Howie move if ever there was one. It would also be a big mistake.

Monumental.

Absolutely Yes and Yes. If you remember, Lurie and Company were infatuated with Wilson and if Seattle didn't do what they did he would of been the pick other than Foles.

I would prefer to keep 3 first rd picks over Russel

Omg just thought of something hilarious...

Eagles take Mac Jones at pick 12 🤣

Yup so i can’t say if it was a great deal or if they undersold it until draft day when that happens with the board falling the way it does. Based off draft value chart a future first has the worth of a second rounder as it’s a future pick and they moved up from late round into the fourth. It’s about what the value is on the draft value chart if you assume that first is likely 10-17 area.

I feel that. I like the trade TODAY but with new info we are allowed to change opinions.

When has Howie ever traded multiple high draft picks for an expensive player in his 30's?

That would be the anti-Howie move.

The Howie move is to trade mid and low round draft picks for proven players with 1-2 years left on their rookie deal.
