For safety the Eagles should use their 2nd and the Colts 3rd to trade back into the first and draft Moehrig.  Go Horn at 12 and Moehrig at 26 and the future for that secondary and defense is looking a lot brighter.

I thought this was how we were going use Zertz (well to 30 they say).

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

So Ertz goes draft weekend right?  Anyway we can shake a 4th for him?   Howie really f that up.  Should have traded him last year for a 2nd.  We could have used it on an under sized pac 12 player that can be converted to another position.

At this point, the best value we may get for him is as a sweetener in a trade involving lots of other picks changing hands.

I’m of the mindset of waiting until camp and getting a 2022 pick for him. You’d think there would be a team or two who figure they need a playmaker after seeing their team in pads.

Or he’s used to move up in the draft.

I would gladly do this. Moehrig might go in the top 20 though. Safeties are difficult to project in the draft.

I don’t care what these trade charts say , but I’m not accepting a 3rd to move from 26 to 37 , will take more than that.

Lots of smoke about Carolina wanting to trade out to recoup picks from Sam Darnold trade. If Pitts or Chase are there are 8, do you trade #84 + #150 to move up? That equals the value of #8.

85 and 151 according to tankathon are our picks.

Yes, I would do that trade in a heart beat if its for Pitts or Chase.

Bills moved from 12 to 7 with Bucs for Josh Allen , gave up the 53 and 56 picks in the draft . These charts mean nothing  , stop basing trades off them , teams don’t use them

I dont think Ertz gets traded during the draft. I think we have him till at least preseason, could even be till the trade deadline.

These teams staying away are killing the  young guys development  .

The Charts are a guide.

Also, the value of a pick is higher IF it's for a QB. That's why #3 overall was worth so much. The Dolphins only traded a 2nd in 2013 to go up from 12 to 3 because it wasn't a QB heavy draft.

crazy. I wonder if the union will be upset with all those QBs and WRs around the league that get together for their own little passing camps. Like Hurts and our WRs did this year.

Your bringing up 8 years ago ?

you can bet if teams want a player bad enough they don’t use the charts

Dumb move for some of the soon to be former players that are lower end players.

Obviously not , many teams had practice sessions last year

I can just imagine having both Goedert and Pitts yet Greg Ward is still getting 50% of the offensive snaps

correct. they are being disingenuous.

I will not trade up for Chase when I can have Marshall later. Id rather take Horn.

Lots of teams will look back on this draft and say , wow we really wet the bed .

True.  Some of these union stooges are desperate to keep their jobs, though, so they need to show some bluster in between the times the NFL pushes them around at labor negotiations.

TJ Carrie’s deal with the Colts was 1-year, $2M.

All adults are now eligible for a vaccine.  Because of hesitancy, there is excess supply in the system.  It would only take about 10K shots out of tens of millions delivered every week to get the league vaccinated.  They could put together a program with the NFLPA to get shots in arms in May to facilitate camps in June.

That said, as a citizen, I'd prefer the excess supply go to places like Michigan.

The players arent going to take the vaccine because they are predominantly black population and the media has told them that their doctors are not looking out for them in this pandemic. So now they dont trust them when they recommend the vaccine either.

This is why the NBA players did not agree to a marketing drive to promote the vaccine. And this is why the leagues will not be requiring it for the players. The players dont want it.

I have wanted to love Isreal Mukuamu because he is 6'3'' and plays CB and S in the same game. However, the video that people have posted in here many times of Pitts running a quick slant near the goal line on a helpless CB- thats Mukuamu. And he had a lot of other poor plays in that game. And I just have a hard time now... Love the idea of a player his size with that versatility. But he just seems to play like Jane.

This draft has a bunch of 6'3'' CBs, and Id like to get 2 of them. Someone with that size, and length will have a better chance of covering DK Metalf's freakishness.

Melifonwu really looks nice. Hes big, and plays physically too in run support. I love it.

Melifonwu and St Juste would be two dogs on the outside for us when Slay is gone.

Greg Newsome is anther CB prospect that's in that second tier of CB's who may fit Gannon's defense. Trading back to the late teens or even low 20's for one of these secondary pieces wouldn't be the worst thing while adding more to the armory.
