While you all are agonizing through the Eagles draft, my wife and I will be sipping margaritas on the Riviera Maya. 😄

I will blame you if Howie goes off track.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

if Both go, then maybe one of Chase or Pitts is falling to us. Its fine.

What does this even mean? I have not seen them last past pick 12  in most mock drafts.

If Chase gets to 8 or 9 go get him

only guy i am moving up for

If Howie trades up I'm thinking it's for QB or OT.

At least we didn't draft this idiot

I wouldn't know whether or not he was any good, honestly.

Clearly this means the Eagles will trade up to pick 5 for Horn.

Nobody has any idea what's going to happen and are going to be throwing out takes left and right all week. Just last night Rapaport was saying there may not be a single defensive player taken in the top 10.

It means

1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Patrick Surtain II

2. NY Jets - Jaycee Horn

3. San Francisco 49ers - Mac Jones

I hate the Cowboys with a passion, but I was watching Mel Kiper talk about draft options for the Cowboys at 10(?).  They desperately need to upgrade that defense, but TE is a big glaring need, too.  If I'm Jerry Jones, I'm trying hard to move up to get Kyle Pitts.  I might even dangle Amari Cooper.

TE isn't a big need for them.  I mean Dalton Schultz played fairly well for them last season and he's only 24.  He had 63 receptions and over 600 yards.  Trading up for Pitts wouldn't make sense given how poor their defense played and their needs on the offensive and defensive lines.

I locked in Paye as my predicted pick for the Eagles.  Is he who I want?  No.

A lineman with a story and a high motor who will definitely be on the board at 12.  If that's not the most Eagle pick of all time, then what is?

Might be the secret to drafting success.

After I was so repulsed by the 2011 draft, I couldn't handle being in the country for 2012.  I woke up in a different time zone to hear about Fletcher Cox.

The earliest one of these CBs are going is most likely #8 and the other #10-12

I can't see Carolina passing on one of the 2 OL if they are sitting there for them.

Sucks if true.  Feels like the Birds may miss out on the difference makers they most need.  All depends on how many QBs and demand for OL I suppose.

I think they are in a great place at 12. Assuming the QBs go, there are enough options to make me plenty happy.

If the QBs don’t go, there should be some good trade back options.

not saying they can’t screw it up, but I see no way they don’t have at least 1 player I’d be happy to have just staying put at 12 - or have a great trade down offer available.

If we waste valuable resources to trade up in the 1st round for an OT, I'm strangling my neighbor's poodle.

Solak went through the metrics that the eagles almost always draft on his podcast yesterday. There were 4 that are most consistent amongst the eagles drafted players over the past 4 years. Almost all of the players they got met all those metrics. Amongst the players most likely available at 12, Paye, Surtain, Horn, and Slater were the only ones that hit on all of them.

So it's a lock

They do that for everything. All year long throwing crap to the wall

Dude, that's something I would do if I was happy.

That was a good listen and I'm not really a fan of BGN"s content.

Surtain will most definitely be gone, but if Horn is still there and we take Paye.....it's going to be brutal.

J/K I love dogs (I don't really love poodles) but I wouldn't ever hurt them

Paye would be a fail at 12

I heard a fantasy football person say that Schultz was $ in garbage time.
