I know probably unpopular, but I'd even throw Parsons into that mix for me personally.

i think the character stuff will have him off many boards

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

These youngsters got it figured out .

: Sean Culkin (@culkin22) of the Kansas City Chiefs will receive 100% of his $920,000 base salary in Bitcoin.

"It makes the most logical sense to be paid in sound money that I believe protects its purchasing power over time

He graduated from University of Missouri in May 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.[2] In 2020, Culkin was accepted into the Kelley School of Business, where he is currently enrolled in Indiana University's Master of Business Administration program

take Slater and laugh all the way to the bank there. easy choice

the disaster scenario is three qbs and my next 8 go. which might mean Fields is staring you in the face. so you get a trade premium...or take him. Fields has franchise qb all over him. in my mind

My thoughts on Slater come from "where does he play in 2021"?

I believe the overwhelming majority of 1st round OL have a spot waiting for them.  Tra, Andrews, and Lane stepped right in.

I agree that Slater is worthy of #12.  But maybe to a team that has an immediate need or at least can afford to park him for a season.

So how does KC pay for it?  Crypto Currency confuses the heck out of me.

KC would be paying him cash in a regular salary situation.  Now KC has to buy Bitcoin to pay him with it?  Do you need an account or something?  I have no idea how this stuff works.

are we sure Brooks will be ready to go? he's probably already better than Mailata. maybe mailata cross trains at RT.

Probably RG or RT when either of them end up getting injured for the season

I locked in Paye as my predicted pick for the Eagles.  Is he who I want?  No.

A lineman with a story and a high motor who will definitely be on the board at 12.  If that's not the most Eagle pick of all time, then what is?

I can't decide on Paye either way. He's got the high motor, great athlete for the position, but not quite as productive as you'd like - but if he was, with those measureables he'd go top 10.

So your scouts have to decide if there's untapped potential or is that all there is?

Not sure even without the character questions whether Parsons is a good fit in a conventional 4-3, seems more like a 3-4 OLB.

Brooks was practicing with the team in December, he'll be 100% in August.

Who knows how good Mailata will be in August, he has the same amount of game experience as Sewell and Slater, isn't much older, and has more upside.

Culkin will receive weekly U.S. Dollar installments from the Chiefs, which will be converted instantly to bitcoin.

The conversion will be done via Zap's @ln_strike product.

Slater has all the attributes of a stud OL. we need those. we need to be thinking long-term.

He is using an application called Strike that takes the payments made by Kansas City to be automatically converted in Bitcoin

If you want to learn about Bitcoin, this is what I recommend watching before anything else. There is nothing better

I hope they played some rock scissors papers so they could get some kind of idea if any of those 600 players are competitive.

I like the way John Lynch is doing things there.  I think he wins a Super Bowl with the 49ers before the Eagles sniff the playoffs again.

No doubt.  We should do a poll post as to what player would be the pick that would make posters go nuclear like I did with Reagor and Hurts last year?

If we draft one of the following guys at #12, at least half of the board will go bonkers.

Which tells me, we will be picking one of the following guys.

Paye

Lance

Barmore

Slater

Rousseau

Tucker

Farley

Koramoah

Moehrig

Etienne

Harris

Jaelen Phillips

Jalen Mayfield

Newsome

Ojulari

Oweh

For me it's Paye. I know people are down on Farley (and for good reason) but I wouldn't be upset if they traded down into the 20's for him.

Any QB would likely equal a meltdown as well.

It's going to take A LOT to top last year's fiasco.

thanks. I don't have an investment savvy mind.  Something I'd love to learn about.

Its Mac Jones. They are defending their decision while trying to explain it to the fan base that they did a full eval of many different guys and Jones was the best.

You're obviously not a full timer here.

5 QBs, 2 OL, 2 WR, 1TE and 1 CB.  You’re original premise of a CB being available seems fine. If only 4 QBs go in the top 11, I’d think we could tradeback for 2022 1st from WAS or CHI and still land Newsome or JOK (you said this is a best case exercise within limits, correct?). If Horn was still out there, I wouldn’t trade back unless something crazy happened.

More than that, Mailata's game experience is in NFL, while the other 2 are college games.

Reuben Frank predictions:

-Eagles trade up for QB.  NO thank you.

-Eagles trade back in to round 1 for CB.  He claims there isn't a talent gap between 20 and 40.  If that's the case, trading up wouldn't make much sense IMO.

-RB is taken on day 2.  I said this late last week.  Travis Etienne is my sleeper surprise pick for the Eagles.  He might be too good of value to pass up at 37. (not what I want, just think).

-Dillard is used to trade up.  If using Dillard to move up saves them 37, 70 or 84 so be it.

If the CBs go high and the QBs do, some real talent will fall to the Eagles pick.  Part of me suspects Sewell could fall because of the opt out and how raw he is, especially with his arm length potentially limiting where he can play.

It will be interesting to see if a 5 and 6 are used with Ertz to go up into the 3rd or4th, with a pick next year. One way to rebalance the lower than normal talent pool

I've been trying to make this point in my arguments against OL in round 1.  Mailata, while he has a ways to go, proved against NFL talent that he belongs.  He's only going to get better with game time.  There is no guarantee Sewell, Slater or any of the top OL are going to translate to the NFL.  Just look at Dillard.

Can't wait for the "Chargers war room laughs after Eagles pick" video we'll get
