I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

7 games a healthy scratch.  Big part of the future.  OK Howie.

They were training him at Hback.

Adam Caplan says he thinks it’s Lurie’s job to tell the front office it’s time to flip the table, clean house and trade any tradeable assets you have remaining, stock up on picks and rebuild.

He even mentioned trading Kelce as a possibility, which I don’t see, but I’d be cool with it if they want to commit to a full rebuild.

Alright new shiny and higher picked Jerome McDougle

It's Howie's way.

I'm hoping a top 6 pick is high enough for even Howie to screw up. At 9 I would be a little nervous.

Cox was a 12 Depending on how it plays out, I'd be ok dropping back between 9-11 for an extra pick .

No where did I ever see, read, hear, watch that Reagor was the consensus # 3. It was always Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs. Then Jefferson, then from there it was mixed. Jeremiah didn't even have this guy in his top 50 in any of his 4 prospect ranking lists dating back to last January.

He keeps trying to change when that imaginary ranking was.  But during the college season, after the college season, pre combine, post combine, draft lead up, draft day.  NEVER WAS REAGOR A TOP 5 RANKED WR.

Patrick Surtain or trade back a few spots and get Davis

I think its trade back, the Miami DE or one of the two receivers.

Not sure kelce would continue playing if he were traded unless to maybe KC to play with his brother for a couple years. Otherwise i don’t think kelce would want to uproot at this stage of his career for maybe 1-2 more years.

I say this as someone on the "Fire Howie" train, but he sounds like someone who knows he has to blow it up.

It needs to be a self-sacrifice then.

So we spend a second on a WR so he can be converted to H-Back.

Yea. They know when to cut bait. Howie can't figure it out.

Just like they will continue to force Reagor to be an outside WR because they believe that's what's best, even though it was clearly not. Stick him in the slot and pray he can develop a bit and give you something... He will never be Jefferson, all you have to do is watch that kid play. He's so much better and more talented than Reagor its downright depressing.

Not sure if it’s exactly butt kissing. Also not sure how anyone thought hurts or any QB would play well yesterday considering who was out and what OL they had yesterday. Personally there’s one of these three things going on

1. they don’t want to eat 34 million in dead money next year so they need to smooth things over with wentz even if it means a short term marriage which means if he’s likely back can’t have dysfunction between him, doug and the organization

2. they are trying to make to so teams don’t know or think there’s a fracture like was reported. If that was confirmed and known as true then teams know with doug coming back they have to get rid of him and his value drops even more than it did this year with teams knowing that.

3. they realize wentz is better bet going forward after what they saw from Hurts down the stretch and last night. Trying to get back into a good place with him and the organization.

He's right.

I could see Lurie on board with this. Howie didn't say the word rebuild today, but it sure felt like it.

Well that was depressing in more ways than 1.

-Howie and DP are coming back.

-Howie referenced the past too much and how they've had success.  IMO, none of that matters given the current state of the team.

-No hardball questions defending moves like bringing Alshon back.

-DP walked around the tank question but I don't care.

I hate Howie so much.

random press conference Cliff notes:

-Relationship with Wentz is good.

-Relationship with ertz is great. lol

-John Dorsey is NOT being brought in to help with personnel, they think they have a good enough process. 🤦‍♂️

-Howie fought the little voice in his head that told him to change personnel in order to move forward & stop living in 2017. WTF

-Howie said Doug DOES hire his own coaching staff and howie has total trust in Doug.

-Howie said they aren’t changing who makes the draft selections because they have had a ton of success with certain picks (WTF) and then in the next sentence blamed the fact that they don’t select in the top 10 for why they haven’t hit on picks ... again WTF

-Doug said Nate is very capable of executing the offense. lol

If I’m Laurie listening to that press conference I’m firing Howie by noon today for the quotes I underlined. Enough is enough.

Bringing Roseman back has made the franchise somewhat of a joke.  It already was with the nonsense in the draft last year, creating a circus with Carson and Jalen and the laughable explanations.

Brining back the guy responsible for this disaster of a roster and cap situations makes it a laughingstock.  If I am the other teams in the NFC East I am very happy.  May they keep this idiot in place forever.

There is no justification in what Lurie is doing here, and he needs to be held to account.  It's gross nepotism, period.  And it's wrong.

How the hell did nobody in that press conference ask Howie about the abomination of a salary cap situation they are about to face?

Just to be clear, I want no part of Rousseau.

It just seems like a Howie thing to do.

What are the realistic chances they bring Alshon and or Djax back? I will stop watching altogether

Ertz having an emotional moment. Say what you want about him, glad he was an Eagle!

My guess is they try and trade them before they cut them loose.  They will be cap casualties.

Don’t fall for Howie’s propaganda. The guy is a walking perpetual course correction, it’s all he does. Every year he goes on about how they know what they need to do and they know what they got wrong and know what to do. Which every year means do the exact opposite of what they did the year before. No nuance. Every year there’s a new "theme” that looms over everything they do under Howie.

So, since the "offseason of speed” didn’t work, this offseason it’s gonna be to get tougher. And they’re gonna sign a bunch of dudes who are "big and tough.”

Once again, focusing on arbitrary criteria instead of just drafting the best guys in their board.

it will never change under Howie, this is what he does and who he is.

I'm sorry was that a serious question? Nobody would say my guy sucks, but they went out of their way to state over and over that they were going to try and fix the Wentz situation with him.

I understand this is a business but if you traded Jason Kelce, then Howie deserves to be punched in the face by Kelce himself. That's just a D move unless Kelce approves it and I highly doubt he would.

What tradeable assets do we have that teams would pounce on besides Cox, Sanders or Goedert? And of course Wentz.

Hey.... if Doug and Howie are both back... let them go down with their ship.  JJAW is their anchor.

We have a year with Burrows and Jefferson tape on Chase. I do worry about his development.  Ruggs is a subject lesson on speed receivers.  I don’t think Smith holds up in the NFL. I was wrong about DJax but I have similar concerns about Smith.

Chase reminds me a lot of Sammy Watkins coming out. Prototype WR's that shined immensely despite a lot of talent around him.  There's not a lot of questions around him, outside of the sitting the year thing.

Smith is interesting, he might have had the best single season campaign since Fitz's last year at Pitt.

I don’t think they make that determination from a game where we benched a bunch of starters and went up against a team fighting for the playoffs (at least their defense was).

I think Kelce would do it if it were to a team like the Chiefs where he could play with his brother. Otherwise I’m with you I don’t think he wants to move from the area and up route for just one or two more years before he retires.
