Again with the insults because you're wrong. It's ok bud.

If you would have said the "Medium 3" it would have proved at least you watch games.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Who are the BIG 3 in EMB? Discuss

well theres me, and hpenis, and that fat slob bobeph, if you disagree thats ok, but you're wrong

I wasn't aware Bridgewater ended up in Denver.  He's a good passer, just didn't catch the right breaks in the NFL.  I bet he's starting there by the end of the year.  Then he probably gets hurt and isn't starting by the end of the year.

Yup, Conley might be back for game 5 and khawi Leonard ruled out for game 5 with sprained knee

Jazz need Conley back bad , I’m not sure it would be enough if Clippers are healthy

their perimeter defense needs improvement , plus the clippers have been pulling Rudy away from the basket , and he is out of his element there , as a Jazz fan , I hate to say it , but Rudy can get soft in the playoffs . Favs was a mistake signing , he offers nothing at this point in his career . Bogy is too hit or miss , that said go Jazz  , I told you prior to playoffs , the Suns are the team , I least want the Jazz playing , they can take the Jazz out quick  . Jazz choke a 2-0 lead away combined with Denver debacle last year , their new owner may make some big changes . He is a big Jazz/hoops fan , with him and Dwayne Wade as owners , they are the youngest ownership group in the NBA .

They said the big 3, not the fat 3.

It's Wednesday. Stopped at a local bottle shop and picked up some killer IPAs. Heavy hitters.

Tomorrow I scheduled no clients. First time in months. School's out forever!

Cheers if you're having a strong one midweek!

And @downundermike

I made all my fantasy baseball moves before the drinking commenced 🤣

I understand your view of Villanova. I shared it at one time but Jay Wright has won me over. I think they play beautiful basketball.

I saw Dr. J when he was at UMass, playing against Penn. He scored 36 and Penn still won. Saw David Robinson when he was at Navy. Scored 50 against Drexel at the Palestra and Drexel still won. Les Keiter. Tickled the Twine. Ring-tailed howitzer. Double-headers and every seat was close. Great great venue.

The first time I went to the Palestra just happened to be the night where Penn lost an Ivy League home game for the first time in about five years. Just my luck. Teddy Manakas went off that night for Princeton. I remember my parents put the tickets into my Christmas stocking that year, and I was so excited to finally get to watch them in person. Went about a month later to see them beat Harvard. James Brown (sports host dude) was the star player for Harvard. We had almost the same seats. I've never been back, and it's been almost fifty years.

I'm guessing the UMass game would have been in '69-'70, the year that Bilsky, Wohl, and Wolf were juniors, and Calhoun and Morse were sophomores. I'm a little sad that I never got to see any of those guys play in person, although I guess I did see Wohl play a rookie team game for the Sixers against the Cavaliers rookies with Austin Carr. I might still have that program lying around somewhere. I used to, and I doubt I'd have thrown it away.

Who is the third after you and I?

Sam Morin is supposed to the Cornerstone on defense. They moved him to wing, back to defense, back to a health scratch.

Offensively the flyers have drafted fairly well. Defense... not so much

What? Since when? He was drafted in 2013 and has had 2 knee surgeries, he hasn't been looked at as a serious piece probably since 2013.

And they drafted provorov and sanheim, both of which are at the very least top 4 defensemen. Drafted York who was thought highly of. Found mhers and zamula as UDFAs who are least passable defensemen. The only thing the flyers are missing on the blue line is a sure fire #1. It was hoped provorov would be that but it doesn't look like he is. He's a good  #2 but he won't carry a pairing.

With the new rules of the G-League year kids can do then enter the draft, I'm curious if we see a shift in the way college basketball is played.  Nova is one of the few schools that actually developed players and played fundamental team basketball (Gonzaga is another).  The bigger schools just recruit huge names and let them go out there and do whatever for the whole season.  They always seem to fizzle once the tourney comes.

Who else remembers the Big 5 when it actually meant something? I loved watching local college basketball when I was a kid. Rooted for Penn. Rooted against the other four, especially Villanova. I still hate Villanova to this day. They're like the Dallas Cowboys to me.

Triple headers at the Palestra and as far as Penn still bitter about the 90-47 loss to Villanova in 1971...

The experts in this thread saying over the past day the Sixers shouldn't have played Embiid this game.

Yep.  They said if he couldn’t dunk he shouldn’t play.  HHahaha.

That was one of the dumbest things I've read on here, and that's saying a lot.  I definitely don't truly understand the ramifications of the torn meniscus injury.  I know it's all about pain tolerance, but after Monday night, I thought Embiid was done.  He's a totally different player at the moment.  Moving around effortlessly.

I'd be fine if Bob Craft and Meek Mill were banned from all Philly sporting events.  F Bob Craft obviously.  And F Meek Mill just because.

F Rueben too, unless he makes me his sandwich.

Didn't Craft help Meek out with his legal problems?

Rubin.  Sorry.  And hard to ban him.  He’s a co-owner.  Bob Craft?  I don’t mind him.  Old rich guy who likes to get a rub n tug.  Good for him.  Maybe he can go talk to our wack job owner of the Eagles and get him a rub n tug.

Ya don’t say?

I legitimately thought you meant Rueben Frank and then thought of the sandwich.  😂     No way on Bob Craft.  I hope he's booed out of the arena, and someone dumps popcorn on his head as long as it's safe.
