The issue with the Ertz trade is the player salary comp and not the trade comp.  Plenty of teams are interested, but he wants more guaranteed money than teams are offering, esp with his salary this year being so high.  The reason he wants to be released is so he can look for more guaranteed money etc.  Not saying he is greedy, but he is looking at other players money and wanting in on it.

Rightly though, the Eagles aren't letting him Carson his way out of the building either.

I easily could have been a Suns fan. When I got in to basketball in college, Steve Nash was my favorite player. And that was during the time D'Antoni had the 7 seconds or less run and gun team that was revolutionizing the game and so fun to watch. Nash, Jason Richardson, Quentin Richardson, Raja Bell, Leandro Barbosa, Boris Diaw, Amare Staudamire... Amazing PG who was surrounded by shooters and an athletic scoring C. 

But I was in the philly market and despite PHX getting plenty of national games during that time, 6ers were just always on in my dorm. It was towards the end of the Iverson era, and Iguodala looked promising as a rookie. They just became my team while I admired Nash from afar.

I don't know if I would say "upset" I think it's just hilarious. If this is the best we have to be excited about (a guy throwing passes with no defensive backs in sunglasses) with words like "wow" attached to them. Then  we are in deep trouble. It's desperation at it's finest.

It was reported in NFL network this morning as well. Wouldn't surprise me if it was an agent or the Eagles getting that out there to drive up interest from other teams to get an offer in. Kinda of makes sense after the rumor came out that they would like to sign CB Nelson but need to clear up cash to do it.

I think it's mostly for the kids.  Most of us adults know this stuff means nothing.

They just started having different food trucks every single day out in the parking lot at my work.  Lot of Mexican, pizza, even a Jamaican one.  I can barely even attend an afternoon meeting anymore because of the different sounds my stomach makes now.

Yea, it’s meaningless in the end, but it’s normal. IMO I think it’s just getting more scrutiny here because this is our first QB who is on social media a lot.
