I've never lived "close" to a Taco Bell so my visits are few and far between. Plus, as mentioned I like Pancharros (more expensive) but taste better and more healthy.

WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID.... They're building a taco bell 2 minutes from my house. Looks like those drunk college runs to taco bell may be happening finally

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Elite -- You mean like 'Eli Manning elite' ?

This is going back to the mid 90’s roughly, but one thing Taco Bell used to make that I loved at the time was their bacon cheeseburger burrito. Damn I miss those.

Again, picking outliers to prove a terrible point and only looking at one position to prove a terrible argument.

You can have the best QB in the league(mahomes) and if you dont have the OL you wont win.

Believe it or not this is a TEAM game

Go look at the top LT's in the game the last 20 years. All first rounders, probably all top 10.

Go look at the Top WR's in the game since 2000ish, again, 9 out of 10 were first round picks.

Just because the eagles BLOW at 1st rounders doesnt mean it's a crap shoot

We are purely talking about the draft, as I was responding to a poster that implied scouts were infallible.

I watched what seemed to be my first few innings of Phillies baseball this year yesterday.  My interest in the team is at an all time low.  Couldn't tell you who half the guys on the field were.  I know part of that was because of some guys testing positive but there was a time I knew every player, who was coming up in the system and whatnot.  Then they drafted what seems to be another high school pitcher last night.

Outside of Aaron Nola, who on the team has been drafted and successfully brought up?

What you seem to fail to comprehend is that sometimes greasy, disgusting, fatty, food is just what's needed to hit the spot. Plus you get the added incentive of a great crap afterwards. Once in a while I eat Taco Bell, it doesn't mean I never eat somewhere good at other times.

My interest is at the lowest it has ever been for Eagles training camp this year.

yes, you were talking to me.

End of the day, you're blinded because the eagles have had horrible first round picks you think everyone else sucks. just not the case

League wide even the good drafting teams struggle at drafting

I found this article useful

Though their metric for measuring efficiency of drafting qbs is based on whether or not they merely started half their career, which to me doesn't tell the whole pic.

For instance Mitch Trubisky a first round pick Qb started half his career so far and no one would consider him a successful first round pick.

Either way scouts and GMs have alot of misses in the draft.

And to conclude hurts will be no good because if he was scouts would have taken him in the first is a mypoic view.

Would hurts have a statistically higher chance of being successful if drafted in the first round?

Most metrics would conclude yes and it's not exact

Bean burrito no onions. 2 taco supremes w/no sour cream.  That’s my go to when I feel like eating crap food

Sadly, it's honestly my interest in professional sports as a whole.  I maybe watched 5-7 Sixers/Flyers games combined.  Used to be a game on every night.  The really sad thing is I don't miss it.

I'm intrigued by the Eagles storylines but like you, my interest level is low.  90% of it is the coverage we get.  We discussed it briefly a few weeks back but it's just a shame that the Eagles went from one of, if not the best fan experiences for Training Camp at Lehigh, with a fantastic website to the worst website in the NFL and a team that has one or two open practices at the Linc.  What makes it even worse, is that the organization thinks these 2 fan events are a big deal and they are doing this huge service for us.  It's a complete slap in the face.

Mine is pretty high because of the young coaching staff and potential changes to both sides of the ball.  I think this team has more talent than given credit for.  Doug’s offense had regressed and Schwartz’s D was stale as were the STs.  Plus, I like the underdog feel.  And in a division with Prescott, Jones, and ???? (Hankins or Fitzmagic?) is Hurts really that bad of a QB?   That WTF defense is scary but it is possible the best OL in the division is in Philly.  Will be interesting to watch.

Again, you bring up first round QB's which are a clear outlier to drafting where teams over value and take huge risks.

going back to the original convo. Hurts was a reach. People werent happy. Then we settled on him being a good backup. and now because some fake news media spins, 3 games(actually 3 half games) where he ran around like a chicken with no head people want to crown him.

I wouldn't say hurts was a reach, he went right around where he was projected to go.

I'd say he was a definite reach for the eagles for various reasons that have been talked about ad nauseam.

I wouldn't summarize his 3 games as running around like a chicken with no head

He had some good moments some good games and a bunch of good throws from the pocket and he also showed he has room for improvement.

Most rookie QBs struggle it's a tough position in a tough league even with all the rules that benefit qbs it's still a tough position

As far as hurts being crowned, I do t know that too many are crowning him as anything other than a young qb who has a lot to prove.

Maybe I'm not hearing/reading the same things you are but to my knowledge most including the eagles themselves seem to be pretty Luke warm on him to this point and are in wait and see approach as am I.

Well see what happens, hurts should have enough around him to be successful if they can stay relatively healthy.

I think the bigger issue will be the defense where Howie and co probably should have used that 2nd round pick Instead.

The biggest damper of excitement over the season is how the Eagles are throwing in the towel on that #2 CB spot.  Puts the new DC in a really tough position and I think will ultimately limit him on what he wants to put in place and call when there will be a major massive liability at that #2 CB spot.

No but you sound wrong.

Internet question: We’re having issues with some devices connecting to our home Wi-Fi but the internet not working. At first it was just our phones being spotty, but now my wife’s work computer isn’t working. Our TV, iPad, kids tablets, Fire Sticks all are working without issue. We’ve reset/powered off our modem, we’ve disconnected and reconnected our phones from it, but it’s not working.

I did an online diagnostics through our internet provider and they said everything is fine on their end.

Any ideas?

Try forgetting the network and then cold booting the devices.  While the devices are cold booted, cold boot the modem and router (if separate).  Restart the modem first, then the router.  Then restart the devices.  (Let each be off for around five minutes so they truly forget). Then search available networks and select.  You will need to input the password so have it handy.  That may work.  Is you router capable of all the devices you are using?  Do you use a VPN?  You may want to do so.

Sounds like it could be a bad modem if your having issues with all devices and phones. Also could be a bad connector end or line going into your modem from the outside. Ive also seen the line under the ground from the mainline box to your house go bad.

I'd replace the line from your house to your modem with fresh connectors. Also replace any splitters in that line as well. Well know issues that can cause internet to go out. If you dont have a strong enough signal getting to that modem it wont work. Every line and connection point will have a loss, but when one goes bad its over.

Will probably die alone on this hill, but I still think people look overly far into what Sirianni says in front of a camera/the media. There are brilliant minds, entrepreneurs, entertainers, etc that can be awkward or weird in front of a group of people.

This isn't to suggest that Sirianni is a brilliant mind, but people don't seem to understand or accept that goofy press conferences does not automatically equal a slam dunk terrible coach.

I'm not worried about his press conferences.  I tend to think he won't be good because most coaches fail.

Taco Bell is only really worthwhile when you are starving and need something in a hurry or if for whatever reason you have a late night craving for it.

Otherwise order some takeout from a legit Mexican restaurant where the quality is going to be tenfold better.

KFC you have to be even an entirely other level of desperate/hungry in the moment to get.  That quality is so low.

I think for most fast food places the quality has been going down since the pandemic hit.

As far as KFC the only thing I used to get from there was the popcorn chicken and potato wedges but I believe they removed the wedges from the menu.  Havent eaten there in at least 5 years tho.  I've heard the chicken sandwich is pretty good.  I just tried the Popeyes chicken sandwich for the 1st time a couple weeks ago and it was slammin.
