    I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

This is why you try to keep Matisse over Maxey in a potential Dame trade or another trade for a great PG in a Simmons trade.  You will lose a great defender in Ben but you try to keep a potentially even more elite defender in Matisse.  Plus Thybulle will continue to develop his spot up 3 pointer.

Yep, our suspicions that HE is eight are confirmed.

One of those things was not true.  Just for the joke.

But one was true. :ph34r:

Sometimes I like a team name that isn't plural, like Magic, or Jazz, (not that I follow basketball specifically, just those names came to mind).

For Washington, I have a name that will match their colors, and shouldn't be too offensive to even the overly sensitive.

The Washington Diarrhea.

@EaglePhan1986   This could be their mascot.  I'd actually be jealous.

You should be.  I will cancel myself for the rest of the day.

Practically equal in terms of talent.

I think Bojangles is extremely overrated.  But don't say that to the locals down here.  Damn, they love them their Bo.

Banging fried chicken.  It's what they're known for.

It's the biscuits but the chicken is still better than other fast food.  The thing with Bojangles is that you can run into ones that just are not good because of how they're run.

Jefferson had 7 TD of his teams WR 18 touchdowns

Ward had 6 of his teams 11.

So Ward > Jefferson and it's not even close

Ward = 53 receptions = 6 TDs = 1 TD per 8.33 receptions

Jefferson = 88 receptions = 7 TDs = 1 TD per 12.5 receptions.

If Ward had 88 receptions, he would have had ~10 TDs

(Please disregard all the yards) :-)  (no, I don't believe any of this, but it's funny)

Lane: "He’s taken great command of the team early on. I think what I appreciate about him the most is he holds everybody accountable,” Johnson said, via The Liberty Line. "When we go to practice, it doesn’t matter if you’re a veteran or a rookie on the first day. If you’re making mistakes, he’ll push you on the board. Not to call you out, but really to kinda get you better. What that shows, if he can do that with veterans, then the younger guys will come along as well. That’s been my impression early on. It’s been a lot of fun, really a lot of energy. Moving forward, we have a lot to prove.”

Their fries with Cajun seasoning is probably my favorite thing on the menu.  Their biscuits for breakfast and a sweet tea are both pretty good for a hangover, but I agree I've gone to a few Bojangles that were atrocious.

Why? Explain the logic of keeping Maxey over Matisse in a trade for an elite PG like Dame?

I feel like veteran players look at him like a bit of a joke with his Ted Lasso HS football style.  He will need to win them over with results.

Michael Robinson. He is full of it. He is just saying this with no proof at all. He hates the Eagles. I’ll go with what the actual players are saying.

I’d have a second favorite team and wouldn’t be ashamed of it

My friend Reuben told me if you take his best game, 8 for 72 yards and a TD, turn his targets he didn't catch into completions because they were bad throws or something and extrapolate it over the year he would have 187 receptions for 1,734 yards and 17 TD's.

Meh. I’m willing to give Sirianni a chance, but I don’t think what Robinson said is all that far fetched. It isn’t like he said a lot, or a high number of players said this. He only said some, and given that he’s a young HC with no experience, and there are 90 players, it’s not hard to believe some are not sold on him yet.

I mean to there's nothing surprising about veterans wondering if a  rookie coach is good enough.  He's young and hasn't done that much to prove he's going to be a good coach.  I don't think Howie wants a yes man necessarily but Howie doesn't want a coach that's going to try to move Howie's office to the marketing side of the building.  I mean what GM doesn't want a coach that agrees with him and understands that the GM is his boss.

Let’s use common sense here. Guys aren’t putting their name on something like that in public. Let’s be realistic. Common sense also should tell anyone that in a group of 90 people, you’re not going to have 90 people in total agreement. The idea that Lane knows everyone’s true opinion is even more far fetched than what Robinson wrote.

If he can keep it up over 10 years he'll be knocking on Jerry RIce's door. Then we can have a real debate about GOAT WR's. Ward > Rice.
