It's not like the UK has anywhere near the choice in fried chicken joints that America has, the major cities may have the odd specialist chicken joint but the vast majority of KFC's competition are cheap and cheerful kebab/chicken/pizza joints that buys bulk frozen 'southern fried' chicken from a wholesale food supplier and throws it out for a quid a piece, measured against that KFC is at least consistently OK.

Similarly with McDonalds, the vast majority of it's UK competition is either artisan burger places that charge you North of £15 for a burger and fries that is good as you'll get anywhere, or a cheapo every sort of fast food you can think of place all bought from the same frozen chicken wholesaler, nobody wants to pay £15-£20 for a great burger every time when you can pay £8 for a McDonalds that is rarely anything other than pretty good.

It depends....  The majority in my town are chicken/kebab houses.  One plays on the fact that it's proper chicken and in bigger cities, the chicken shops are vastly superior to KFC.  The cult of KFC vastly overrate what it does IMHO.

I maybe lucky in my town that we have a good local burger takeaway (and a small chain) that the price point is a little more expensive than Macs, but the quality is leagues better.  Queuing for over an hour for Macs is just dumb, especially when you have 2 service station drive thrus and a physical shop within 5 miles.  You can go to the Lidl a few hundred metres away and cook it yourself for less money!

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I try to stay away from KFC only because I’ve had the leftovers next day.  The degree to which the taste, texture, and quality degrades even overnight makes me wonder what the heck is in it, other than chicken.

Why spend your day actively disparaging a guy who does nothing but work hard and tries to do everything he can to succeed?

This isn’t Eagles propaganda BS. This is the guy he’s been since his freshman year in college.

No, I don’t think he’ll be good enough. However, I’m definitely rooting for him.

Sorry Mrs. Hurts, nobody is "disparaging" the guy. Just his endless ridiculous supply of work out videos that mean nothing.  Wake me when he does one that matters to his football skills

Ingredients other than chicken are grease and breading 2 mortal enemies

It's the reality of a lot of posters here.  Besides what they claim, their posts over the summer make it clear they just personally hate him.  They might make a throwaway post here or there saying they hope he does well but the reality is they don't.  They will be actively rooting against him so that they can be right and that there is another QB in here that they'd rather root for.  If he does do well many of them won't acknowledge it and instead will find some weakness within his game to pin everything on and elevate to as the most important aspect of QB play in the NFL and thus disregards everything else he might be doing well.

Hey guys, I'm gonna go for a 12 mile bike ride at lunch, should I record it so you all will know how hard I work out?

Yes.  Could you throw a few footballs through moving hoops while you're at it, please?

Hoping he takes a leap.  We need someone in the secondary to standout.  Aggressive and could be a play maker.  Just not sure about his coverage ability.

I was never a Jim Schwartz fan. I always felt his scheme put the DBs in a no win situation. I think just a change in scheme will draw some improvement in the secondary and LBs. The fact that Gannon was one of the top DB coaches the last few years turning no name guys into a nice solid group of starters makes me have some confidence there will be a new spark in our DBs. Will be very interested to see who makes that jump.

This dude needs to stop creating new accounts every few months. Don;t they have a option they can just ban people from making multipe accounts. This has to be his 6th account in a year. DumbleBear, TrotterIsGod, DireWolf, how many others does this guy have?

Well another one of his accounts to the blocked list.

I don't think making multiple accounts is bannable. Otherwise there's a bunch of people in WU that'll need to get banned

If your previous account was banned, and they pick up the same IP they will ban all your new accounts.  @Moderator12, wanna look into this for us.  @DuckWalk appears to be the new account for the previously banned accounts listed in the quoted post above.

Yes, but make sure the video is only of 10 full revolutions.

Worked out really well for Julio Jones and the Falcons. :)

Yeah it worked great against Tennessee in 2018, cost us the game. Also it was only used on 3rd and long. We should be trying to force turnovers in that situation, not letting a player catch, gain 10 yards, and cost us field position.

Is it that important? He's not doing anything but posting some videos

If he bothers you that much just put him on ignore. No need to ban him

See below, and there is clear rules about creating new accounts after you are banned.
