Thank you Brooklyn, I'd rather package Scott, Bradley, and a 2nd rd pick and get a solid backup 3 & D forward who can guard guys like Tatum.

Once this team gets healthy, with the progress of Milton, Thybelle, Maxey and now Rice, heck, Korkmaz could be trade bait as well.

I think Maxey is going to be a star in a couple years, once he works on his outside shooting and learns how to play defense (the flesh is willing but the inexperience shows).

You said the same thing about Nerlens Noel.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Smith tomorrow. Kinda surprised no coach signed anywhere yet.

Everybody was waiting for Doug.

All these coaches want to interview with the Eagles. Weird. I thought we were a bad franchise.

Saleh is going to turn the job down when he see's how we value LB'ers.

learns about Howie.

Interview means nothing...I'm sure it doesn't hurt the ego to have an NFL franchise show interest in you as a HC with potentially $5 million/year staring you down.

Need a coach to interview and want to take the position.

1-0-0! Best team in town!

They are really the only ownership groups that’s not complete buffoons. Sixers still buffoons even if they landed morey.

Why wouldn’t they it gives them more leverage

Frankly I don’t think the Eagles job is as bad to the point where they would be the worst place you wanna go. And I don’t think they’re the best job either. They are definitely in my book behind the chargers even with the Chiefs in that division, jets because of where they’re picking and salary cap space and likely the Jag simply because they have a chance to get Trevor Lawrence. Everyone else I think they’re better or equal to those organizations even with our downfalls. Those teams have their own downfalls. Lions and falcons to me are bad jobs every time they open imo.

I disagree. I think the Eagles job is the top spot. You have 2 QBs. You have the 6th pick. You are in the worst division in football. You have a development year where you have the best chance of making the playoffs.

I don't really want a defensive guy like Saleh, but he is one of the big names.  If they were to land him, then it would be hard to argue that top guys are staying away.

Nah... only 5 letters.  Pederson was a bigger name.

I agree, if you interview once go for it all.  I also agree that the Eagle don't offer the worst HC job in the NFL but this isn't a great time to change given the draft/2020 record and the salary cap situation.  As bad as this year was, and it was BAD, the East can be ours in 2021

That kind of thinking can get you fired around here, mister.

You mean Tim Jernigan (Ravens), Torry Smith (Ravens), and Alshon Jeffery (BEars) were 'Howie' moves?   Seems much more like they should be put into the Joe Douglas column...

Ok....if you say so.

Sure... Doug is a complete and total moron, even though he spent 20 years in the NFL.    Come on...   be frustrated if you want, but let's not get stupid in criticizing the guy.

Why?  He deserves it.

Of course he knows football.  Doesnt mean he's good at it.

Has he got any interviews yet?

I mean he is the hottest commodity out there now that the Eagles parted ways with him.

Nah, he doesn't deserve it.  I'd take him over you as HC.  Sorry, your resume doesn't impress me.

Let’s see who accepts the job first before getting too smug about it.

Come on, you're hurting my feelings 😄😄

Well.......we will see how good he does at his next stop.  Because he will get another HC job, right?  If he does well then I'll gladly admit I was wrong.

I think a smart coach would look at this as more of an opportunity. You go into it with an owner who clearly wants a re-build. So you say, "if I take this job, I need 4 years. First year is a total wash because of the cap and roster. We’re going to have a top 5 pick. Second year I settle on a QB. Again, really bad record. Third year we get to around .500 as my first two draft classes mature and we have room to maneuver under the cap. 4th year we make the playoffs.”

If Lurie balks, then you do too. But if he agrees then you have the absolute most valuable thing a HC can ask for: job security.

We got shot down by Gase and McAdoo last time. Interviews mean next to nothing.

All these other bad franchises are interviewing the same guys... just an FYI.

Maybe Doug isn’t getting interviews because he’s just not interested in coaching at the moment
