I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The last two OTs taken at #6 were Ronnie Stanley and Jake Matthews. Either of them would have been an immense upgrade to the OL.

With Kelce maybe retiring, look at Joey Hunt ?

No thanks, he can take his baby T Rex arms elsewhere.

Assuming all are fully healthy (and it's a big assumption I know, but just go with me)....I would love to see some unbalanced lines with Brooks/Lane/Mailata stacked on the right side. The D could know we are running to their side, but that's a lot of man meat to get around. And Sanders is excellent at being patient with his blockers.

Imma just have to call it like it is, since you have just jumped right to  being a victim or just trying to start Bullsheet.

I'm good at sniffing out Trolls with only one or 2 posts.

Well we heard that Duce asked out of his contract.  Fipp and Peelle had opportunities. Wonder about Moorehead and Manual.  Moorehead may be a good fit with our new passing game coordinator and OC.   Sure suggests my desire to move on from Press Taylor is happening.   Not sure Manuel is a fit with Gannon.  I always kind of felt that Schwartz kind of abandoned the secondary to Undlin and may have to Manuel.

I also wonder about some of the young assistant position coaches.  Two, Ollie and Harper are headed to the Senior Bowl next week. Expect we will see the total staff announcement around mid week

649 post and counting but thanks for your input! Sorry but calling out the rooney rule every year is just tiring anymore.

Huh??  No, not every franchise releases the audio of said phone conversation.  Share one and I will admit I am wrong.  I'll wait.  Did you hear it?  If you don't think that was corny as hell then you are corny as hell.

Having Swoop greet him at the airport wearing a mask trumps it

Then let me help you- In the blog we talk about/debate the actual game of football as it pertains to the Eagles. We talk about players abilities, Coaches abilities, game plans etc...based on merits and ability. Sometimes the conversation sways or veers into other topics, however:

When it comes to social issues/Political opinions/religious debates, most times, when they are brought up, those in the blog point those posters to the CVON section of the EMB, where people go to argue about the social ills of the world.

Moorehead should be good.  He was a Colt as a player.   lol

Seriously though, Moorehead is a mystery to me.  The young WRs were very hit and miss.  We saw good things from Fulgham, then he disappeared.  Who's fault was that?   What did he do to correct it?   Hightower started early, showed he could get deep, could draw DPIs, but couldn't track the ball and make the receptions... then got buried.   Watkins came along slowly and showed some promise, but had limited opportunities.   Reagor... roller coaster.

I had high hopes for him when he came in, and I'm certainly not going to say he has to go.  But, the WR corps was still a weak spot and I'm not sure I saw the growth I was hoping for by the young players.   But, there was so much other stuff swirling around, I don't know if it was his fault or not...

If anyone would do just an ounce of research, they would know that Lurie is the LAST owner to call out for ish like that.  It's childish and lazy, honestly.

Would agree. It is extremely lazy to even suggest Lurie or Eagles org is in any way systemically racist.

Chargers' offense ranked just 18th in points, but they also ranked 9th in yards, 4th in giveaways, and 15th in DVOA”. So at least our new OC is prepared to coach Wentz and Hurts re: giveaways.

Why does your eyes keep rolling 😄giphy.gif  This you? Lol

This report about Wentz having beef with the whole organization is hard to take. I'm trying to see it from his perspective - get over the Hurts pick already! -  but it looks bad and he need to take some responsibility publicly at some point.

I have the same feeling on him. He had two specific jobs to do coming here. 1, get the first round pick up to speed and able to contribute asap. 2, salvage the second round pick from last year. Neither happened. There was also so many stupid mistakes from WR's across the board. As you said, who knows what or who to blame, but there isn't much to credit to him.

Oh?   Is there a new report?   Or is this just the echo of the earlier unsubstantiated rumor reports from December?

He has taken responsibility publicly... after every game, in front of the press, each and every time.  Find me a situation where he said anything like what Rodgers did after a game, where Rodgers put all the onus of the loss on his coach going for a FG at the end of the 4th quarter, rather than go for it.   Please, find that for me.

Good on the Eagles for letting him out of his contract.

Well, once upon a time, I read things over there... then I found that it was just unreadable. Hot takes, recycled nonsense and nothing of value, honestly.

It's just Garafolo on WIP talking to Cataldi repeating the same things that already have been said.
