Tom Brady

Deflate gate was stupid and insignificant.

The balls were inflated to regulation size in the second half of the game and Brady had no problem throwing it despite the rainy conditions at Gillette Stadium. He was 12-of-14 for 131 yards and two touchdowns in the second half when the Patriots outscored the Colts 28-0.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

If it was insignificant then why do it? If it wasn't wrong why did brady destroy evidence, if it was insignificant why did the league fine the pats and suspend brady for 4 games ???

One can point to one game but it's too small a sample size to draw any conclusions.

Would be better to see the possible cumulative effects over a season or two. Like the lowest amount of fumbles over that time.

Deflated balls are easier to squeeze and hold onto decreasing chance for fumbles.

Again one can justify and minimize and excuse cheating yet it's still cheating.

He's not OC, DC or HC so it doesn't matter

Do we get picks or is that not for position coaches?

Everyone does something, if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.

Which means YES.  Because your "board" would have him as the best of what's left and you would have got your guy.  That's how the experts do it...like Howie.

Rex EwwGrossman and Danny Woeful...

Strange things happen at draft. Let’s see what shakes out.

He’s actually went down interms of position. He went from OC to QB coach....

Wow, I was actually going to end my post with that and say right???

I had a coach that used to say the same thing. He was an o line coach, I didn't okay I line but I remember him telling the o lineman how to hold without getting caught

Yet I don't remember the league ever fining taking away draft picks or suspending a team or player for holding, the ref just throws a flag.

So in  your estimation brady isn't a cheater he's just tries Really hard?

I'll give you that ,Tom Brady is the GOAT at cheating...😒

Roussea is raw.  I think some folks hope he’s Chase Smith lite.  But he’s got a lot of work.  Guy just started playing the position and then opted out in 2020.  Great 2019 season but he doesn’t have a lot of moves.  Mostly bull rush.  Major project.  Terrible year for DE.

I agree with you. Other options weren’t that good and so I felt taking a high reward project DE was best case scenario there. Can never have too many pass rushers

When I'm having a political discussion with my dad and he has no idea what he's talking about or any counter points to the discussion he makes that emoji face in an attempt to discredit what I'm saying is crazy because he has nothing to say so as a last resort, which is usually a first resort for you, when one can't discredit  the message discredit the messenger.🤔

LOL.

You can discount everything Brady has done because of a deflated football in a blowout win.  You're weak arse take isn't worth the effort..

OH and BTW.  If you're going to spout BS.  Make sure it's close to being accurate.  Chuck Cecil was not banned from the NFL.....  But go ahead and live in your alternate reality.

No one still believes in deflate gate right?  Brady destroyed that theory after halftime, plus winning 3 Super Bowls since.    Unless of course they also believe in Q, lizard people, and pizza restaurant basement pedophiles.

Seriously though, the NFL admitted they scammed Brady, if you don’t believe me call them and find out the Football pressures at halftime vs the start of the game, loonies from Indy still do it all the time and the NFL won’t reveal the numbers, I wonder why?

To be fair, the Colts should of protested that game, Luck likes his footballs closer to 13.5lb limit, the 3 Colts balls that were well under the legal limit at Halftime, were never re-inflated like the Pats footballs were. So in a way, the Colts screwed themselves.   17-7 at halftime, after halftime with the Pats footballs re-inflated final score 45-7.

There was?   What did that new energy look like exactly?  Was it a punt return for a TD from a guy who got exactly 4 return opportunities all year?  Was it the QB running on designed QB runs as part of a last ditch effort for the team to remain relevant?

What exactly was this new energy?  Was it measurable in wins and losses?  I didn't see much more energy from the offense.

It lasted for the first half in the first couple games then once the opposing DC made adjustments it fizzled out.  It was a short lived not so bright spark.  Then it was dead.

That looks like a draft that he GM's all the teams and just let Smith fall to 25.  Not a chance he is not a top 10 pick.

I think NIco Collins is going to be a better pro than college WR.  You saw glimpses of DPJ with the Browns this year.  UM just hasn't had any offensive consistency or identity under Harbaugh.

Cloris Leachman passed away

You have nothing to worry about... Howie would draft 3 QBs and a kicker before making this group of selections.

That's #3.  Hank Aaron, Larry King and now Leachman.  I didn't realize Aaron and King were still alive before I heard the news🤷‍♂️

Have the Eagles picked a d-lineman from Miami since 2003 when they picked Mcdougal and Jamal Green? Hope Jaelan Phillips is much better than them if he is picked, which wouldn't be hard to do.

NCAA to NFL.  If minitories want their foot in the door this is the way to do it.  He got his name out there at UF.  Now he finds himself as the QB coach with the Eagles where he can cement himself by either "fixing" Carson Wentz or being the QB coach who takes Hurts to the next level.

He's in an ideal situation to move up the NFL coaching ranks fast.
