Nope. Patterson was 2005 draft where he was selected 31. Andrews was the offseason the year we went to the super bowl in 2004. Thats where there was a lot of people who wanted Steven jackson on the emb and not Andrews. Fun times

What I remember was there were rumors all over that we were going to trade up with the 49ers to take Jackson. The draft is here, and its announced the 49ers have traded the pick to the Philadelphia Eagles. OMG we are getting Jackson, the rumors were true for once. Oh wait no, its Andrews??? LOL. Eagles made false rumors to jump ahead of the Dolphins who wanted Andrews.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

If he played in 2020 he would be a top 5 pick in the draft.  I still think he ends up going in the top 10 despite not being there in mock drafts.   He is my top preference for the Eagles' first round pick.  20 years old, 6'7 and has the production and clear flashing talent to go along with the elite measurements.  He would give the Eagles a player they can build around for the next decade like they have with Cox.

I want to like him but I don't see top 10 explosion out of him.  Seems his sacks come when the entire D-line is getting pressure and he benefits from that.  He makes some nice plays but I don't see anything close to being elite.  I would actually hate this pick.

I haven't seen him on here in a long time. Did he just sign up to say he was done?

I believe we drafted Reggie Brown in the 2nd round that year as well after we traded AJ Feeley to Miami. After his rookie year, I thought he was gonna be a very good receiver for years to come. Nope, fell off a cliff.

Yes that's right.  Patterson wasnt anything special but solid.  Best picks were Herremans and Cole, both way later.

One of our fellow EMB members lost a family member this week(Dog) and some have put in avatars in honor of our furry little friends.

Still somewhat early in Reid’s tenure so i don’t think people understood there was like no chance the eagles would take a RB that early in the first nor would they deal up to get a RB. People saw westbrook go down late the year before, Staley was gone and buckhalter was ok not great.

I saw him make some posts in the welcome thread early on here. None were quitting posts. I guess he probably lurks.

In honor of @4for4EaglesNest losing his dog this past week some of us honored his dog by changing our avatar to our dogs.

Once brown got paid he completely fell off the cliff. early in Reid’s tenure he couldn’t get the WR position down in the draft. Later in his tenure managed to get maclin and desean in back to back years. Sadly we missed on a lot of good WRs early in Reid’s tenure.

Trying to see what your point actually is here?

His hit-rate on WRs who got separation changed when Mcnabb wasn't the QB anymore.  I don't think that's a coincidence.

Mcnabb was AR's Goff.

No matter how you want to define it, the bottom line is you better have a WR who can beat press coverage. That guy can be your X.

With Reagor, even at max potential, you want him getting free releases to avoid physical DBs at the LOS.

I think they need to scheme fulgham off press

reagor seems to be ok to beat it

Suggesting bringing in a guy real cheap who has upside isn’t playing Madden....

He doesn’t have upside. What you see is what you get. A less talented, more injury prone DeSean minus the insane ball tracking skills and route running.

No you get it. I'm wondering what's the hang up with drafting a lber anywhere in the draft that's good. Kind of like when donovan mcnabb was in Philly you never saw back shoulder fades. Just saying unless it represents your wife sleeping with your son and half your co workers, I don't understand.

Idk desean Jackson was drafted when mcnabb was there. And desean was good his rookie year with mcnabb. They got to the nfc title game. And Maclin was a rookie in mcnabb’s last year here. So he drafted them before mcnabb was gone. I’ll also disagree he’s Goff. I feel like Goff has better WRs in kupp and woods then the eagles had from 2000-2003. If mcnabb had hill and kelce like mahomes I’m guessing the eagles win more than one nfc title game in the early 2000s

I wonder where Marquez Stevenson is likely to go in the draft.  He doesn’t get caught from behind at all.

I’m hearing from a packers fan who says he want to return and the coaches want him but the FO wants to move on.

Kind of reminiscent of Quez Watkins.  They've both got the quez in their name, so I'm going to double down on the comparison.

Eagles 2021 current cap liabilities per over the cap: $264,102,304

that means we'll be 84 mil over the cap?
